This very spacious and modern holiday apartment for a maximum of 5 people is located a few minutes' walk from Lake Weissensee in the southwest of Carinthia.
The holiday apartment is on the first floor of a holiday home, is very fully furnished and has a large living room with a sofa bed and dining table, 2 spacious bedrooms, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with washing machine and separate toilet. From the very spacious terrace you have a fantastic view over Lake Weissensee. You can park directly at the holiday home.
The Weissensee including the nature park at the foot of the Gailtal Alps is 11.6 km long, lies in the middle of a 76km2 landscape and natural area and is considered one of the most beautiful and cleanest lakes in Europe. Whether mountain biking and alpine hiking in summer or ice and cross-country skiing in winter, Lake Weissensee offers many opportunities for sporty holidaymakers. The Stockenboi municipality's lido is located on the eastern shore of Lake Weissensee.
In winter, Lake Weissensee is the largest ice skating area in Central Europe, also known for the alternative "Elfstedentocht", an ice skating marathon run by the Dutch.
Weissensee and the surrounding area offer 5 ski areas: the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometers of slopes and 30 lifts offers all kinds of sporty fun on the slopes, the family ski area in the southwest of Weissensee with 6 kilometers of slopes offers the perfect combination of child-friendly slopes and an incomparable mountain-lake panorama, the ski area With 25 kilometers of slopes, Goldeck is a small ski area near Spittal an der Drau, on the northwest slope of the Goldeck in the Latschur Group / Gailtal Alps and the Weißbriach ski area in the Gitschtal with 5 kilometers of slopes and the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area at the transition between Gailtal and Lesachtal with 6 kilometers of slopes are 2 smaller ski areas.

Die Ferienwohnung ist für Familien mit Kleinkindern super geeignet. Sie ist sehr sauber, mit viel Platz zum Krabbeln und Spielen und hat einen wunderschönen Balkon mit Aussicht auf den Weissensee. In der Wohnung ist alles reichlich vorhanden vom Spülmittel bis zur Klarsichtfolie, vom kompletten Putzschrank bis zur Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer und natürlich auf Bestellung auch Hochstuhl und Babybett. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit.
The apartment is ideal for families with small children. It is very clean, with plenty of space to crawl and play, and has a wonderful balcony with a view of the Weissensee. In the apartment everything is available in abundance from washing-up liquid to cling film, from the complete cleaning cupboard to the washing machine and clothes horse and of course, on request, high chairs and cots. The landlords are very nice and always helpful.
