This detached wooden chalet/holiday home for a maximum of 5 people is located on a small stream at an altitude of 1300 m, on the edge of the small holiday resort of St. Oswald near Bad Kleinkirchheim in Carinthia.
The holiday home itself is compact but fully equipped, it offers a spacious living room with sofa bed and dining table, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 cozy bedrooms (one with a bunk bed, the second with 2 single beds) and a bathroom. The garden is equipped with garden furniture and you can park right next to the house.
As a district of Bad Kleinkirchheim, St. Oswald is located at the end of a quiet high valley, right in the Nockberge Biosphere Park. The holiday home is only 700 m from the gondola, which takes you to the Nockberge Biosphere Park with numerous bike routes and hiking tours in summer and winter. Directly in Bad Kleinkirchheim there is the St.
Kathrein thermal baths and the Thermal Römerbad, an 18-hole golf course and in Radenthein there is an outdoor pool for swimming fun in the summer. Lake Millstatt can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
The more than 103 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes in the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area promise variety and pure skiing fun in winter. A total of 24 cable cars and lifts take you to the ski area quickly and comfortably. Another ski area in the Carinthian Nockberge is the Skipark Falkert, which is located at the Heidi Alm mountain resort on the Falkert. This ski area is a very family-friendly ski area and offers 12 kilometers of slopes, 3 ski lifts, a snow park and a cross-country ski trail.
Directly in Bad Kleinkirchheim there are enough shops for daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Warm welkom door vriendelijke eigenaresse. Huisje is klein, maar gezellig en alles zit er op en er aan. Alleen badkamer is erg klein, is even wennen.
Huisje ligt op 1300 m hoogte, daarom altijd een paar graden kouder dan Bad Kleinkirchheim. Prima uitvalsbasis om te gaan wandelen.

Na 1,5 week rondtrekken was het heerlijk toeven in dit lekker rustige huis aan de beek.
Ondanks dat je op 1300 m hoogte zit, was het overdag lekker temp. van ongeveer 22 - 25 gr.
's Nachts goed slapen! Dichtbij lift om wat hoger te gaan wandelen. Auto is wel nodig voor boodschappen in Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Aankomst op de locatie waar we onze huwelijksreis gingen doorbrengen was fantastisch. Midden in de natuur in een klein dorpje, een prachtige omgeving en leuke, gastvrije mensen. Wij kijken terug op een topvakantie!
