Het huis is ruim, comfortabel en voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Elektra en water dienen achteraf te worden afgerekend, daarvoor is het nodig dat de meterstanden bij aankomst en vertrek worden opgenomen. Het was een probleem om de watermeter te vinden, deze bleek in een put aan de straat tussen de (doorn)struiken te zitten, en de deksel was moeilijk op te tillen, daarna had je een verrekijker nodig om de meter af te lezen, hij zat een meter diep in de put. Het water in de buitenjacuzzi was slechts 17gr.C.
