On a clear day you can even catch a glimpse of the world’s largest offshore wind park at Horns Rev (for further interest you can visit the exhibition in the building adjacent to the lighthouse.) Blåvandshuk, the western most point of Denmark, is a unique experience worth exploring. In the small town of Oksbøl is Ål church, famous for its murals, in particular the knight frieze from the 13th century. A trip through the largest heath in Denmark, Kallesmærks Hede, to the famous Vejers beach is also recommended. The protected peninsula Skallingen is also a popular tourist attraction.
