Wij boeken al jaren via Belvilla, maar dit was de eerste maal dat de voorwaarden van de boeking niet volledig voldaan waren. Ons vakantiehuis was van FranceComfort, maar boekten we via Belvilla. Blijkbaar is er miscommunicatie gebeurd tussen beide bedrijven. Het verblijfsadres op de boekingspapieren kwam niet overeen met het gekregen vakantiehuis. Er zijn meerdere vakantieparken op die locatie; ons vakantiehuis had geen toegang tot het zwembad. Volgens onze boekingspapieren zaten we op een ander park, op een ander adres, mét toegang tot het zwembad. Gelukkig hebben we met de beheerders zelf een compromis kunnen afsluiten, zodat onze kinderen toch in het zwembad mochten. Nog een voorbeeld van miscommunicatie: we hadden een huis met 2 badkamers geboekt; ons vakantiehuis had slechts 1 badkamer. Nog een opmerking: de foto's op de website toonden een volledig ander vakantiehuis, zowel exterieur als interieur. Ondanks dit is onze reis ons goed bevallen. Hopelijk kan de miscommunicatie tussen Belvilla en FranceComfort in de toekomst vermeden worden.

We have been booking through Belvilla for years, but this was the first time that the conditions of the booking were not fully met. Our holiday home was from FranceComfort, but we booked through Belvilla. Apparently there has been miscommunication between the two companies. The residence address on the booking documents did not match the holiday home received. There are several holiday parks in that location; our holiday home did not have access to the pool. According to our booking papers, we were at a different park, at a different address, with access to the swimming pool. Fortunately, we were able to reach a compromise with the managers themselves, so that our children were allowed to go into the pool. Another example of miscommunication: we had booked a house with 2 bathrooms; our holiday home had only 1 bathroom. Another note: the photos on the website showed a completely different holiday home, both exterior and interior. Despite this, we liked our trip. Hopefully the miscommunication between Belvilla and FranceComfort can be avoided in the future.
