Na een late maar vlotte check-in nog enkel ons installeren en dan genieten maar. 's morgens waren we super verrast door het mooie uitzicht ! Het is een klein maar leuk ingericht huisje enkel een gezellige houtkachel hebben we gemist. De omgeving is licht glooiend dus ideaal voor wandelingen. De plaatselijke topografische kaart en een mapje met wandelingen uit de omgeving lagen klaar in het huisje !!!

Uiterst viendelijk ontvangen door de tuinman als plaatsvervanger. De rustieke accommodatie is prima, mn. de zeer ruime woonkamer met palletkachel voor de wat killere avonden in september. De omgeving: het lieflijk golvende landschap van Picardië; akkers afgewisseld met weilanden, bossen, tijdloze dorpen. Bewegwijzering is ook daar in Frankrijk prima. Navigator dus eigenlijk niet broodnodig. Super U met tankstation op ca. 20 min. De Gite ligt heel strategisch voor toerritten naar bv. Abbeville, Amiens, Albert, de kusten met de witte falaises .

Mooi, sfeervol huisje op een prachtige, heel rustige locatie. Veel natuur, fietsmogelijkheden langs de Somme, mooie stadjes en dorpjes. Hartelijke ontvangst. Puntje van aandacht: het matras van het kleinere tweepersoons bed is aan vervanging toe. Verder niets dan lof!
