Description

An exquisite villa, with a unique location and a very private character. This villa, built in the 70s, was one of the first houses built on this beautiful hill near the famous town of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. And as the saying goes: first come, first served. From there, the view is magnificent. Around the villa is a large garden with lawn and a terrace with garden furniture, a barbecue and beautiful large fir trees. The private swimming pool, with Roman steps and an outdoor shower, is surrounded by Mediterranean plants and flowers. The sun loungers and garden furniture are on the terrace around the pool. From the garden, you have a breathtaking view of Saint-Paul-de-Vence and the Mediterranean in the background.

In the meantime, other villas have been built on the hill (including that of the car racing fanatic Schumacher and the homes of other celebrities) and it is still always good to live there in a quiet and green environment. You cannot miss a visit to the famous town of Saint-Paul-de-Vence and the Maeght Foundation (both 2 km away). And what do you think of Vence (6 km) and the perfume city of Grasse (19 km)? Cannes, Antibes and Nice are about half an hour's drive away. The beaches are about 12 km away.

Na jaren afwezigheid weer heerlijk 'thuis komen' in 'ons' huis in Saint Paul de Vence. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst, heerlijke hapjes in de koelkast, overal verse bloemen, bedden opgemaakt, kortom het was weer een heerlijke vakantie ondanks de regelmatige donderbuien.

Fantastic stay in an impressive surrounding. The house itself has everything you need. Very practical and beatyfull. We have never had such a nice welcome by the owners. They bought already a lot of fresh food, pasteries and drinks. Everywhere fresh flowers in the house. Everything was superclean! Location is super, in all directions you have a lot to visit ; small beautiful towns, seaside, mountains, ... We will come certainly back! When we left, they had even presents for us, Never experienced that before! Such warm people! Thanks a lot!

This is a marvellous house in all aspects! 4 large bedrooms and 4 separate bathrooms - so no queuing up here. Good kitchen facilities, Lots of chairs and tables - so dining can be outdoor or indoor. The pool is large and also good for small children, as they can walk down small stairs in the pool at the east end of it. Location of pool is perfect. Good sunbeds and parasols. Location and vue to the sea is an extra plus. The hospitality of the owners we will remember for years: We have never had experiences like this - never! This is the best renting experience we have ever had!
