This rustic holiday home, built in the traditional style of the region, is located in the heart of Arcachon Bay, just a kilometer and a half from the shore of the inland sea. The large garden property with its two differently oriented patio areas is located in a quiet side street. Large trees give you natural shade, a brick barbecue invites you to an evening barbecue and you can easily park 2 cars on the closed terrain. It is about 20 km to the ocean with high waves, but the small bathing bays in the Arcachon basin are only a short walk away. At high tide these are ideal for children, who can play and swim in the shallow water.
Cassy is a hamlet in the parish of Lanton. All around untouched coastal landscapes, extensive forests and small sandy beaches where, among other things, sailing and surfing courses are also offered for the little ones.
There are boat crossings to the seaside resort of Arcachon (30 minutes) several times a day.
On the way you will pass the "Island of the Birds" (Ile aux Oiseaux). The region is also ideal for all bicycle fans. The view from the southern tip of Cap Ferret is breathtaking. A detour to the 2,000-year-old city of Bordeaux (about 60 km away), which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is not only worthwhile if you are interested in history.
