Highlights
The detached holiday home is situated right at Lake Bergsee in Güntersberge and can be accessed via a staircase. The Bergsee is a swimming and fishing lake. At its shore visitors will find a restaurant and an ice-cream parlour. From the covered terrace you can enjoy the view of the lake with a backdrop of mountains and forests. The garden is perfect for relaxing while the kids play and let off steam on the common playground. You also have a clear view of the Selketalbahn (narrow gauge railway). The typical landscape of the Harz region is particularly popular with hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. No matter what time of the year, the town and its region always have much to offer. The town centre boasts the Mousetrap Museum and a local museum housed in a listed school building. At the train station you can board the Selketalbahn, a steam locomotive, which offers daily rides. Güntersberge's central location makes it easy to reach numerous tourist attractions, e.g. the world heritage city Quedlinburg (20km), Wernigerode's old town and castle (25km), the Hexentanzplatz and zoo in Thale (11km), Joseph Cross (6.5km), Rappbode reservoir with the world's longest suspension bridge (12km), Stolberg with its half-timbered houses and indoor swimming pool (8km), Brocken mountain (30km).
