Forestpark Markelo offers a small taste of what makes the area so famous; peace and nature. In a separate area, on the edge of the Markelose forests and in the extension of the Buitencentrum Hessenheem, the accommodations are playfully situated among the beautiful trees. A beautifully landscaped stream, with romantic bridges, manoeuvres itself through the holiday park past the luxury chalets.
Although the holidaypark Markelo is characterized by its tranquility, you can use the facilities that the adjacent Buitencentrum has to offer. On beautiful summer days you can, for example, take a dip in the swimming pool and have a bite to eat at Buur & Buuf, a famous local eatery.
The pleasant village of Markelo is around 2.5 km away. and has nice shops, a few museums and pleasant terraces to offer. Nature lovers have found their place here. De Borkeld nature reserve and the Sallandse Heuvelrug are both within cycling distance and offer countless beautiful walking and cycling routes. If you did not bring your own bicycles, you can rent them at the holiday park. The city of Deventer (approx. 30 km.) has a rich history and a lively centre with many sights.
Forestpark Markelo is a wonderful base from which to discover beautiful Twente.
This beautiful holiday park offers a variety of luxurious accommodations. The Bos Lodges are in a wonderfully quiet location at the edge of the forest and are available in 4-per. (NL-7475-16), 5-pers. (NL-7475-17) and 6-pers. (NL-7475-18) variants. They are very comfortably furnished and equipped with all modern equipment. Are you looking for some extra luxury and relaxation? Then the wellness type (NL-7475-19) is definitely for you! The location on the edge of the forest, the spacious garden, attractive interior and of course your own Finnish infusion sauna; they are the perfect ingredients for a wonderful stay.
All holiday homes are characterised by the pleasant, large windows. In addition, they are all equipped with washer/dryer combinations, smart TV, spacious garden with garden furniture and a storage room with electricity where there is room for your (electric) bicycles.

netjes ontvangen bij aankomst. mooie accommodatie, bij aankomst chalet niet schoon, bleek dat na de schoonmaak er schilders in waren geweest. Dat is netjes opgelosd door personeel, een man heeft de vloer schoongemaakt en de volgende dag werd er voor een ontbijt gezorgd als goedmaker voor het ongemak
