Bij aankomst werden we gastvrij ontvangen en kregen goede uitleg. Alleen jammer dat de mensen aldaar zowat geen vreemde taal beheersen, waardoor de communicatie wat moeilijk verliep. Met handen en voeten lukte het een beetje.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed and got good uitleg.Alleen pity the people there about not mastering a foreign language, waardoorde communication was a little difficult. With hands and feet he managed a bit.

Prachtige locatie, grote tuin/terras met een super uitzicht op Pistoia.

Fijne locatie op een berg. Mooi uitzicht over de vallei en Pistoia. Door de wind is het er wel wat fris en weinig plek om uit de wind te zitten. Zomers vast lekker maar in het voorjaar fris. Luciana is ontzettend hartelijk en kookt de lekkerste gerechten, taarten, pizza en koekjes voor je. Heel lief. De woonkeuken is prettig, slaapkamers zijn ook gezellig. Bed is een kwestie van smaak denk ik. De een ligt er goed op de ander minder, maar we hebben er geen rugklachten van gekregen in ieder geval. De woonkamer is ruim, maar wel erg oude doorgezakte banken. Buiten zit je prettiger. Wij waren er met een dreumes en kleuter. Dat ging prima. Er is een ledikant, kinderstoel en glijbaantje. Verder geen speelgoed aanwezig. Fijn dat we gewoon de wasmachine mochten gebruiken. Alles is verder aanwezig en echt keurig schoon. Geen stofje te bekennen en de chloor lucht komt je in de badkamer tegemoed. Heel fijn dat alles zo schoon was. Wij hebben Pistoia, Lucca en Pisa bezocht en vanuit het huis kan je een stuk wandelen over het Strata Romana wandelpad (zowel bovenin bij de kerk als beneden bij de ingang van het huis). Supermarkt zit op 10 min rijden (Conad) of 20 min in Pistoia (coop). Bakker bij st Felice en een fatastische ijssalon tegenover de Conad! De eigenaren zijn echt heel erg vriendelijk. Ze spreken niet echt engels maar met handen en voeten en een vertaal app op je telefoon kom je best een eind. Wij moesten even zoeken naar het huis. Tomtom stopte al voor het dorpje. Maar je kan vanuit pistoia het huis zien liggen op de berg. Rij het smalle weggetje omhoog na de tweede brug en na tig haarspeldbochten kom je bij het huis.

Nice location on a mountain. Nice view over the valley and Pistoia. Because of the wind it is a bit chilly and there is little room to sit out of the wind. Nice and tasty in the summer but fresh in the spring. Luciana is very cordial and cooks the tastiest dishes, pies, pizza and cookies for you. Very sweet. The kitchen diner is pleasant, bedrooms are also cozy. Bed is a matter of taste I think. The one is good on the other less, but we have not got any back problems in any case. The living room is spacious, but very old sagging couches. You are more comfortable outside. We were there with a toddler and toddler. That went well. There is a crib, high chair and slide. No toys available. Glad we could just use the washing machine. Everything is present and really neat clean. No dust in sight and the chlorine air comes in the bathroom. Very nice that everything was so clean. We have visited Pistoia, Lucca and Pisa and from the house you can walk a bit on the Strata Romana hiking trail (both at the top near the church and below at the entrance of the house). Supermarket is 10 minutes drive (Conad) or 20 minutes in Pistoia (coop). Baker at St Felice and a fatastic ice cream shop opposite the Conad! The owners are really very friendly. They do not really speak English, but with hands and feet and a translation app on your phone you will probably end. We had to search for the house. Tomtom stopped before the village. But from pistoia you can see the house on the mountain. Drive up the narrow road after the second bridge and after tig hairpin bends you come to the house.
