Relaxing holiday chalet by the water in Grou

There is parking for your car or boat trailer behind the gate that you can lock. The park also has a central parking lot and outdoor swimming pool. A few meters from the chalet you have a view of the beautiful water and jetties. There is a boat ramp a short distance away. From the park there is a pedestrian ferry (also for bicycles) that takes you to the pleasant center of Grou with various shops, restaurants and cafes. In the area you will find De Âlde Feanen National Nature Park, the Sneekermeer, the Tjeukermeer, the Heegermeer, the Fluessen and the Slotermeer. Here you can enjoy nature, the water, the moorings or the beautiful surroundings. These lakes are all easily accessible by public transport, car, boat or bicycle. Even without a boat you can enjoy your nautical pleasures in Grou; Cruises, rental of boats, canoes and SUP boards are available in abundance. There is even no shortage of sailing schools. Through the water, the roads and extensive cycling routes, you have a unique perspective of the breathtaking surroundings. Beautiful villages including: Jirnsum, Raerd, Akkrum, Westhem, Langweer, Nicolaasga, Lemmer, Heeg, Sint Nicolaasga, Balk, Terherne and Oudega are within reach.
