Rod fishing in the sea can be done from the rocks along the sea. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Vestfjord towards the Lofoten Mountains. The beautiful spring and summer evenings with sunset and midnight sun are a magnificent experience. You can visit Tranøy lighthouse nearby which has been a sailing mark along the sea for the boats for a long time. Tranøy has 2 art galleries. The Hamsun Center contains a lot of history about the author Knut Hamsun. Boats, kayak and canoe for rent at Camp Hamarøy on Presteid, 15 km from the house. Parking spaces by the house.
