About this home
This luxurious detached chalet, suitable for up to 16 people, can be found at the foot of the imposing Dachstein mountains and on the banks of the picturesque Hallstättersee, near famous Hallstatt. Obertraun is located south-west of Salzburg in the lake area of Salzkammergut. During the summer it's a popular holiday area and during the winter a busy skiing area. The area is so unique, that is was added to UNESCO's World Heritage list in 1997.
The chalet is furnished in a modern and tasteful way, not forgetting the typical Austrian aspects. You'll feel right at home. On the ground floor, you'll have a spacious, tasteful living room with a beautiful view. The dining table seats 16 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and features a double cooker and several ovens.
No less than 8 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms are at your disposal, as well as a private sauna and a spacious terrace with garden furniture.
In the holiday village there is a central building with many options, such as a restaurant with sun terrace (terrace only open in the summer), indoor swimming pool, mini market, children's entertainment (in summer only) and a fitness studio. You can book a massage on the spot for a fee. The public beach of the lake is located within walking distance. During the winter, the ski bus stops in front of the door and you can arrange ski rental on site. The area offers a great deal of activities and outings, both summer and winter. The ideal holiday destination in any season!
Specifics
- The indoor pool will be closed from Monday, November 21 to Saturday, November 26, 2022 for annual maintenance work.
- The restaurant (incl. bar) from Dormio Resort Obertraun will be closed from Monday November 13th 2023 until Friday November 24th, due to the ‘Betriebsurlaub’. During this period only the breakfast will be available in the restaurant as usual, from 07.00 – 10.00 hours. Saturday November 25th the restaurant (incl. bar) is open again.

Das Haus ist wirklich groß und schön gemacht, alles noch neu und in tollem Zustand. Für eine Gruppe von 13 Personen wirklich ausreichend und alles da, was man benötigt. Leider ist außen noch nicht viel begrünt, ich hoffe, das wird noch nachgeholt. Die Häuser stehen sehr nah aneinander, daher kann man die Terasse nicht wirklich gut benutzten. Hier wäre es schön, wenn beispielsweise Hecken oder Bäume zum Sichtschutz angepflanzt würden. Der See ist sehr nah und es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir hatten ein ganzes Haus für 16 Personen! Super schickes Haus mit ganz viel Platz, allem was man braucht! Kann man nur empfehlen! Es gibt ein Schwimmbad, einen kleinen Supermarkt und die Umgebung ist einfach nur toll
