Beautiful estate, which was a Tuscany ancient hamlet. The estate is located on a suggestive and fascinating place, encircled by woods, fields and rivulets, not far from Florence. Next to the estate is a small old church. On this estate of 35ha there are 4 holiday homes for rent. It also has a communal garden with swimming pool.
The mountain like surrounding is very peaceful (the house is within 630m. high) and never to warm, even during summer. Ideal for nature lovers (within a few km's from the nature park Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi) but e.g. for those who want to visit Florence as well (58 km.) this house is ideal. In ca. 2,5 hour you can also reach Siena. And in only ca. 30 minutes you can arrive at the Mugello area, where there are many possibilities during every season; acitivities around the Bilancino lake (surfing, sailing, beaches, fishing) but also golf, the international racing circuit of Mugello with for example Ferrari (Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello) and many village festivals. The Adriatic coast is within approx. 1,5 hrs drive(Cesenatico, Rimini etc.).

In the early and late seasons, there are various village festivals, and youll be able to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Resting in San Godenzo, this is a 3-bedroom holiday home on a beautiful Tuscan estate. It is at a walking distance from Lake Bilancino and has a shared swimming pool for fun. You can stay here in comfort with a family or a group of 6 persons.

The holiday home is encircled by woods, fields, and rivulets. Next to the estate is a small old church for a good start in the mornings. Active holidaymakers can enjoy various activities around the Bilancino Lake at 1 km. These include surfing, sailing, beach volleyball, fishing, golfing, etc. To buy groceries from supermarkets and dine at the restaurants, you have to travel 2 km. You can also explore the beautiful city of Florence.

The holiday home is equipped with central heating for comfort. There is a cozy fireplace in the living room for a pleasant time together. The private garden with cozy furnishings offers a good space to have meals. In the evenings, you can enjoy barbecued meals with wine. Play equipment for children are available.
It is possible to spot many kinds of wildlife such as roe-deer, deer, fallow-deer, wild-boars, porcupine, hawks, hares, pheasants and with a bit of luck the wolf. A few hundreds metres away, various offers can be availed of fishing, foot and horse trekking or mountain bike, along approved pathways (sentieri segnati C.A.I.) and the National Park and tracks and trails of the G.E.A.

In the vicinity one can visit several waterfalls such as the famous Acquacheta (described by Dante in his “canto XVI dell’Inferno”), or the ones of Calabuia, Pretella, Doccione, Pescino, also one can view the most prominent summits Mount Falterona (1654 m.)

One must not forget to see Passo del Muraglione (The Muraglione Pass) (907 m.) that takes its name from the great wall that was commissioned by the Grand Duke Leopoldo II in 1836, and gateway to the land of Romagna from which one can enjoy the spectacle of Falterona’s valley.

There, also visits can be organized into the Park where one can acquire first hand knowledge of its environs.
