Take the opportunity to hike in one of the nearby nature reserves at Häckeberga and Romelåsen. There are nice walking areas with beech forest, oak groves and pastures. There is also excellent fishing water at several lakes and streams. The summer in Skåne also attracts with several festivals, kayaking, diving, fishing, playing golf or just enjoying the tranquility and the beautiful nature. On the other side of Vombsjön is Övedskloster which has a nice restaurant, café and shop, Sjöbo and Lund are within a quarter of a distance by car.
