Activities nearby: The Paklenica National Park, which extends to the sea, is located in the southernmost part of Velebit, the largest mountain range in the Dinaric massif. The main attractions of the park are the two breathtaking gorges Velika and Mala Paklenica with many unusual karst relief shapes and several caves that stretch to the sea from dizzying heights. There the long pebble beaches and the blue sea await all water sports enthusiasts and for underwater fans there is also much to see while snorkeling or diving. Outdoor highlights in the region include canoe safaris and boat trips on the Zrmanja River.
