You can start walking directly from the flat because in just a few minutes’ walk you can reach the centre of Dienten, which lies at the foot of the Hochkönig where you can shop and relish the delicacies and drinks from the restaurants located in the centre. Here the Bürgalm and Gabühel cable cars take you up to beautiful hiking routes, where wonderful alpine pastures and sunny mountain huts await you. In winter, the Gabühel cable car connects you to the extensive Hochkönig-Maria Alm-Dienten ski area. Alternatively, you can take the free bus, which is only 50 m away from the house. The centre of Bischofshofen is 20 km away from the apartment.
