Breeduyn Village is a completely new park, opened in mid 2017. It's located at about 3 km from the centre of beach resort of Bredene. 63 luxurious, detached villas can be found on this beautiful resort, pretty much directly on the Belgian North Sea coast. You will find the wonderful vast beach and the beautiful North Sea at just a 5-minutes walk from the holiday park. During beautiful days you can enjoy the sun here and relax and enjoy your well-deserved holiday. You can of course also go on beautiful walks here. There aren't many facilities in the park besides a reception, playgrounds, a laundry and a charging point for electrical cars. But what else could you need with the North Sea and its beach at your feet?
Bredene is unique on the Belgian coast with its continuous dunes. Other beach resorts (partly) have a dike instead of dunes. This is a small beach resort, about 2 km from the sea with a small centre directly by the beach. In the dune area which lies in between, you can walk around as much as you like. Nature here is certainly worth a look. The area can also be explored by bike very easily. There are several nice villages and old castles.
But there also is plenty to do in the surroundings. For example, the famous beach resort of Ostend is about 10 km from Breeduyn Village. A nice promenade where you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in this coastal resort from an outdoor cafe. Ostend was declared Cultural Capital of Flanders in 2010. A few of the events here are Theater by the Sea and the Paulusfeesten. Tourist sights are the Floral Clock, the Fish stairs, Lange Nelle lighthouse and the Casino-Kursaal. The city of Bruges (about 30 km) with its rich culture and history is also certainly worth a visit. There also is a dolphinarium here. In Ypres (about 70 km) you'll find the theme park of Bellewaerde. Besides roller coasters, you can also find tigers, lions, giraffes and many more animals here. For underwater enthusiasts there's Sea Life in Blankenberge (about 17 km). And for smaller children, of course, Plopsaland in The Panne (about 55 km).
In short: Breeduyn Village is a fantastic spot on the Belgian North Sea coast with different options for the entire family. Happy holidays!
