Cottage in Central Bayeux

Klein, maar zeer compleet appartement. Fijne Douche, heerlijk bed. Veel privacy. Hartelijke gastvrouw. Bayeux is een leuk middeleeuws stadje met veel restaurantjes op loop afstand van het appartement. Echt een aanrader. Vooral als he de invasiestranden wil bezoeken.

Small but very complete apartment. Nice shower, lovely bed. Lots of privacy. Warm hostess. Bayeux is a nice medieval town with many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Really recommended. Especially when he wants to visit the invasion beaches.

We werden verwelkomd door een dame, die in opdracht van de vermoedelijke eigenaresse zaken regelde en helaas 'slechts' Frans sprak. Niettemin was de gang van zaken verder oké. Het betreft een ideaal appartement voor 2 personen, waarin nagenoeg alles te vinden is qua voorzieningsniveau wat men zou wensen. Het is er alleen wel vochtig, waardoor een elektrische luchtafzuiger dag en nacht aanstaat. Deze maakt geluid, maar is niet storend. Er is rust te vinden, terwijl je midden in Bayeux verblijft. Het terrein heeft eigen parkeermogelijkheid en wordt afgesloten met een op afstand bedienbaar hek.

We were welcomed by a lady, who settled matters on behalf of the alleged owner and unfortunately "only" spoke French. Nevertheless, the state of affairs was also okay. It is an ideal apartment for two people, where almost everything can be found in terms of supply level that one would wish. It is there only be damp, which turned on an electric air extractor day and night. This makes a noise, but is not disturbing. There is to find peace, while staying right in Bayeux. The site has its own parking and is completed with a remote controlled gate.

This lodging is very small. The kitchen is so small that it is almost impossible to cook in it. It is also very dark and damp, with a constant, 24 hour, extractor fan in operation to keep the air circulating. The toilet is situated in the bedroom, again very narrow and there is insufficient space in the bathroom to be able to open the shower door without opening the bathroom door. Compulsory cleaning charge, compulsory hire of bed linen and towels and electricity charges added 100euros to the cost at the end of the stay. We were disappointed with this accommodation.

Dit leuke twee/persoonshutje midden in het centrum van Bajeux met eigen parkeerplaats, restaurantjes, markt, bakkerijen enz om de hoek is centraal gelegen voor liefhebbers van de invasiestranden en cultuurgenieters.

ideaal verblijf bij mooi weer, ligt centraal in de stad (dicht bij bakkerij, slagerij, discount...) geen hinder van het stadslawaai. mooie uitstappen te maken op korte afstand.

Klein, schoon en compleet appartement in grote binnentuin met veel privacy en rust, midden in mooie oude centrum van Bayeux. Veel prachtige fietsroutes in de omgeving. Aanrader!!!

We had a splendid holiday the owner and the caretaker couldn't have been more helpful. The directions to the property and the organization were first class.

Wij hebben in de natuur gewandeld maar ook musea bezocht, soms heel indrukwekkend. Het was soms wel lastig om de poort in te komen door de drukte maar binnen de poort was het super stil. de mensen in de stad waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam
