Wheelchair-Friendly Escape

Mooi ruim appartement met goede voorzieningen op een prachtige plek, aan een bosrand aan de rand van een dorp. Prima voor een rustig verblijf met mooie wandelingen in de omgeving. En hele vriendelijke eigenaren.

Beautiful spacious apartment with good facilities in a beautiful location, on the edge of a forest on the edge of a village. Great for a quiet stay with beautiful walks in the area. And very friendly owners.

Arrival was fine, the owner met us at the driveway. He gave us a bottle of wine on arrival, and gave us a quick tour of the apartment, as well as telling us a few things around the area and good places to go. The apartment was fine, though because of the high ambient temperatures during out stay (above 30 Deg C) it was hot inside, and we couldn’t open the windows wide at night due to insects, so we were hot at night. The kitchen was small but perfectly adequate, though would benefit from oven gloves! The location is really nice and quiet, with a morning walk to the Boulanger is making a good start to the day. You really need a car to tour the area and surroundings.

Wij hebben hier een fijne vakantieweek gehad. Het huisje is netjes en de eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk. De eigenaren verhuren twee appartementen, je hebt er genoeg privacy en het is niet gehorig. Wifi is zeer goed. Veel ruimte, twee slaapkamers. Het appartementje is niet te warm of te koud in de zomer. En je kunt er paardrijden door het bos met de eigenaar. Let op het gebied is niet bijzonder toeristisch. Je hebt enerzijds een agrarisch gebied, en anderzijds mijnbouw. Ook wel wat mooie bossen. De meer toeristische activiteiten zijn gauw een uur met de auto.

We have had a nice holiday week here. The cottage is neat and the owners are very friendly. The owners rent two apartments, you have enough privacy and it is not up to date. Wifi is very good. Lots of space, two bedrooms. The apartment is not too hot or too cold in summer. And you can ride a horse through the forest with the owner. Note the area is not particularly touristy. On the one hand you have an agricultural area, and on the other hand, mining. Also some beautiful forests. The more tourist activities are just an hour away by car.
