Cottage in Bomba near Lake Bomba

Vlak voor aankomst hebben we de eigenaar gebeld. we konden de woning in, en na een korte tijd kwam de zoon van de eigenaar langs om uitleg te geven, en vertelde over de wetenswaardigheden in de omgeving. bezoek musea, steden, natuurpark etc. en konden de moestuin gebruiken. Het huisje ligt er prachtig bij, met een mooi uitzicht op de bergen, ( wij zaten op de begane grond straatzijde ) helaas was het zoals als overal in Europa erg heet, en hebben onze dag besteding daar op moeten aanpassen. In het voor-, en najaar zou je nog meer van de omgeving / natuur kunnen genieten

Just before arrival we called the owner. we could enter the house, and after a short time the son of the owner came by to explain, and told about the facts in the area. visit museums, cities, nature park etc. and could use the vegetable garden. The cottage is beautiful, with a beautiful view of the mountains, (we were on the ground floor street side) unfortunately it was as hot everywhere in Europe, and have to adjust our day spending on that. In the spring and autumn you could enjoy more of the environment / nature

Ontvangst was Top, eigenaar, zeer aardig en niets was teveel, een echte aanrader.

Reception was Top, owner, very nice and nothing was too much, highly recommended.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der freundlichen Aufnahme durch die Vermieter - es gab u.a. Selbstgebackenes und hauseigenen Likör. Das Haus bzw. die Wohnung ist sehr schön mit einer wunderbaren italienischen Wohnküche inkl. offenem Kamin (sehr romantisch!). Wir hatten gutes, warmes Wettter (20-25 Grad) - leider war die Maiella oft in Wolken. Erstaunlich war für uns die wunderbare Landschaft und die vielen Kirchen und historischen Bauten auch in kleinen Orten. Wir hatten sehr erholsame und entspannende Tage. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut. Die nahe Straße stört gar nicht, auch wenn es bei Google sehr nah aussieht!!!

We were very impressed by the friendly reception by the owner - there were others and our own Homemade liqueur. The house and the apartment is very nice with a wonderful Italian kitchen including an open fireplace (very romantic!). We had good hot Wettter (20-25) - unfortunately the Maiella was often in clouds. It was amazing the wonderful scenery and the many churches and historic buildings in small towns for us. We had a very restful and relaxing day. Transport links are very good. The nearby road disturbs not, although it looks very close to Google!
