Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Die schriftliche Kommunikation war immer sehr gut. Telefonische Anfragen hingegen sind scheinbar nicht gewollt, da die „Berater“ nicht wirklich helfen konnten oder wollten. Eine von uns gewünschte 2-tägige Verlängerung konnten wir nur per E-Mail anfragen, was jedoch sehr schnell und zeitnah bearbeitet wurde.

Everything worked out wonderfully. Written communication was always very good. Telephone inquiries, on the other hand, are apparently not welcome, as the "advisors" were not really able or willing to help. We could only request a 2-day extension by email, but this was processed very quickly and promptly.

Our family had a wonderful time here. Beautiful, characteristic cottage with al large swimmingpool in a gorgeous area with lots of villages and places to visit. The owners were very kind and always ready to help or give advice. We highly recommend this as a place to spend a lovely holiday in Tuscany.

We had a wonderful stay at this Tuscan farmhouse, The location is perfect for exploring nearby villages, and Castiglion Fiorentino is just a short drive away, The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home

Het huis was luxe en zeer compleet. Mooi vrijstaand met voldoende privacy. Het uitzicht op de stad is geweldig mooi, zeker bij zonsondergang. Eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Goede uitvalsbasis voor Arezzo, Sienna, Perugia, Trasimeno. Je kunt zelfs met de trein naar Florence.

The house was luxurious and very complete. Beautiful detached house with sufficient privacy. The view of the city is very beautiful, especially at sunset. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Good base for Arezzo, Sienna, Perugia, Trasimeno. You can even take the train to Florence.

Een paar dagen voor aankomst kregen we bericht van Fausto en Flavia; we konden het best met onze auto naar het station van Castiglion Fiorentino rijden en dan zouden we van daar door hen naar het huis worden gebracht. Wat een goede service!

Het huis zelf is 4 sterren waard en zeer tevreden over. Goeie ligging tov Cortona en Arezzo. Maar de tuin verdient beter , meer aandacht aan bijvoorbeeld, entree, planten, gras maaien, pad naar het zwembad , comfortabeler zitmogelijkheden buiten. Met meer aandacht hiervoor is ook de tuin 4 sterren waard.

The house itself is worth 4 stars and very satisfied with it. Good location relative to Cortona and Arezzo. But the garden deserves better, more attention to, for example, entrance, plants, mowing grass, path to the swimming pool, more comfortable outdoor seating. This is a very nice house. It was several years ago stylish renovated. We enjoyed staying there also thanks to the very friendly owners. The surroundings are like a beautiful painting. Due to the central location of the house it is quite easy to visit cities like Florence, Siena, Peruga, Assisi and don't forget Gubbio.

The villa is an old converted tobacco storage building very tastefully decorated with one main kitchen/living room and two bedrooms. A great place to get a feel for old Italy ... but with very good bathroom/shower facilities thrown in ! The weather was not good, so we did not get a chance to enjoy the benefits of the large pool which is situated on the property, nor the barbecue area which enjoys splendid views towards the ancient fortified hilltop town of Castiglion Fiorentino. However, the owners were always ready to provide advice on specific sights to see and small towns to visit in the area and took care of all our requests for assistance. If you're looking for a small, unpretentious but well appointed villa ideally suited to explore Southern Tuscany then Casa Poggiolo is a very good option .. !

De eigenaars zijn supervriendelijk. Mevrouw is met ons meegegaan naar een plaatselijke wijnboer en olijfboer om te vertalen. Ook de man des huizes stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen. Het huisje is rustig gelegen maar goed gelegen om ergens naar toe te trekken. De woning is super ingericht. Voor ons was de vakantie perfect en we kunnen deze bestemming alleen maar aanraden!!

Dit verblijf was in alle opzichten verrassend de ligging van het huis met het overweldigende uitzicht, het smaakvol ingerichte huis en de lieve gastvrije eigenaren van het huis maakten dat het voor ons een droomvakantie was.

This stay was altogether surprising the location of the house with stunning views, the tastefully decorated house and the lovely welcoming owners of the house meant that it was a dream for us.

Séjour et accueil très agréable. La maison est très bien entretenue et soignée. La suite parentale à l'étage et la salle de bain sont grandes avec beaucoup de rangement. L'espace de la chambre du bas a permis à nos deux garçons de 3 et 4 ans de jouer tranquillement. Ils ont également profité du jardin pendant les belles journées. La maison est aménagée avec goût et se situe proche de nombreuses villes et villages touristiques. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et serviables tout en étant discrets. Ils nous ont été de très bon conseils pour des visites / restaurants et festivités ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de cette belle région.

Stay and very friendly welcome. The house is very clean and neat. The master suite on the "Room and bathroom are large with lots of storage. L" space downstairs bedroom has allowed our two boys ages 3 and 4 to play quietly. They also benefited from the garden during nice days. The house is tastefully furnished and is close to many cities and tourist villages. The owners are very pleasant and helpful while being discreet. They were our very good advice for tours / restaurants and festivities which allowed us to enjoy this beautiful area.
