A Castle Stay in Wine Country

Wat een prachtige locatie! Wij hadden het bovenste appartement met een geweldig uitzicht op de bergen en de vergezichten van de steden. De trap op was elke dag wel even een klim, maar de dames van het kasteel hielpen gelijk bij aankomst met het sjouwen van de tassen. Ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De tuin is prachtig, het hele kasteel is mooi. Het dorp is klein, maar prima om een ontbijtje te halen. Veel te doen in de omgeving. De accommodatie was luxe: twee badkamers en prima bedden! In het appartement stonden allerlei douche artikelen die we konden gebruiken en toiletpapier. De bedden waren opgemaakt en ruimschoots voorzien in handdoeken. Wij hebben hier echt een fijne week vakantie gevierd!

What a beautiful location! We had the top apartment with a great view of the mountains and the vistas of the cities. The stairs were a bit of a climb every day, but the ladies of the castle helped with the lugging of the bags upon arrival. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The garden is beautiful, the whole castle is beautiful. The village is small, but fine to get breakfast. Lots to do in the area. The accommodation was luxurious: two bathrooms and excellent beds! The apartment contained all kinds of shower items that we could use and toilet paper. The beds were made and plenty of towels provided. We really had a nice week of holiday here!

What a fantastic location and what friendly hosts. Arriving after a long trip the hosts made sure we felt home quickly. The appartment was great but a little hard to reach reach using the tower's stairway. It made the location extra special but when they saw our struggle, with our special need daughter, they were quick to open their private quarters to made the entry easier. Overall a very nice apartment which made us feel very special. The town itself is smal with friendly people. It has a small shop, restaurants and a bakery. other interesting locations are within the vicinity Very much worth the visit.

Door vertraging 's avonds pas om kwart over tien aangekomen. Eerste vraag van de beide dames die de zaak runnen hebben jullie wel gegeten? Na ons ontkennend antwoord werd onmiddellijk bij het naastgelegen, zojuist gesloten, restaurant nog wat brood, kaas en salade georganiseerd. Mochten we niet voor betalen. De accommodatie is prima, van alle gemakken voorzien en toch gemeubileerd in de trant van het oude kasteel. Van de omgeving hebben we vooral van de tuinen genoten daar heel veel gelezen omdat er moest worden uitgerust en onze eigenlijke vakantie nog volgde.
