Beautiful estate, which was a Tuscany ancient hamlet. The estate is located on a suggestive and fascinating place, encircled by woods, fields and rivulets, not far from Florence. Next to the estate is a small old church. On this estate of 35ha there are 4 holiday homes for rent. It also has a communal garden with swimming pool.
The mountain like surrounding is very peaceful (the house is within 630m. high) and never to warm, even during summer. Ideal for nature lovers (within a few km's from the nature park Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi) but e.g. for those who want to visit Florence as well (58 km.) this house is ideal. In ca. 2,5 hour you can also reach Siena. And in only ca. 30 minutes you can arrive at the Mugello area, where there are many possibilities during every season; acitivities around the Bilancino lake (surfing, sailing, beaches, fishing) but also golf, the international racing circuit of Mugello with for example Ferrari (Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello) and many village festivals. The Adriatic coast is within approx. 1,5 hrs drive(Cesenatico, Rimini etc.).
In the early and late seasons, there are various village festivals, and youll be able to enjoy the natural surroundings.
Step into a world of timeless beauty at the medieval hamlet of Serignana, dating back to the 13th century and nestled at the edge of the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Mount Falterona, and Campigna. Carefully restored, this enchanting village offers authentic Tuscan-style apartments that preserve the charm, history, and culture of the region.
The SAGRESTIA 1 apartment spans two floors and overlooks the village square. It features a cozy living room with a traditional fireplace, a fully equipped masonry kitchen, and a private outdoor dining space. Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a bath. Exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors enhance the rustic elegance.
Guests can enjoy a shared park with a pool, barbecue, and a communal lounge with books, games, and tourist info. From mid-June to September, a small gym is also available. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, biking, and exploring waterfalls. Local shops and restaurants are 1.5 km away, while major attractions like Lake Bilancino, Mugello Circuit, and golf courses are within 30 km. Heating costs are payable on site.

Serignana, what a wonderful place it is! The surroundings, the little village itself and the appartments. If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet place this is your destination. Time stands still here. Wake up with the singing birds, the squirrels and nothing more, just silence. Organise a hike in the beautiful mountains, have a lunch in Rifugio Castellina and take a dip in the pool. Reading, eating, enjoying the peace and quiet, what a great week we had! This is the place to forget the world and unwind, charge your battery. Great place for couples who enjoy nature. Nicoletta is in charge of the place, what a caring and passionate woman she is, and practical when you need things to get sorted. Grazie mille Nicolleta! arrivederci! And about the road to the apartments, it's not what we are used to, but hey if you want to get to paradise you have to work for it!!! Loved the styling of the apartments, everything you need is there.

Wat hebben wij een fijne week gehad hier. Als je van historie, natuur en wandelen houdt is dit een heel fijn huis. Elk huis heeft een eigen privé tuin / terras. Zwembad en barbecue zijn gezamenlijk maar het is nooit te druk. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam ( ik was mijn iPhone vergeten, die werd meteen nagestuurd) De weg is best te doen als je rustig rijdt, met onze personenauto was het niet erg vervelend of zo. Je kunt er prachtig wandelen

Het huisje ligt in een fantastische omgeving maar de weg er naar toe is erg erg slecht. Dit staat niet beschreven maar dit is niet zo maar een onverharde weg maar gewoon op sommige stukken geen weg. We konden pas om 18.00 uur inchecken omdat ze aan het schoonmaken waren. Nou schoon was het helaas niet. Er is veel ongedierte en overal hangen spinnenwebben. Het was 35 graden, maar ook snachts is het vreselijk warm in het huis. Maar..... de locatie is fantastisch, het zwembad heerlijk. Je hebt veel privacy. De eigenaresse is ook zeer vriendelijk. Al met al een zeer leuke vakantie.

De ontvangst was uitermate vriendelijk, een huis voorzien van alle gemakken in een prachtige omgeving. De onverharde weg naar de Borg di Serignana was wel een avontuur. Gelukkig hadden we een comfotabele huurauto met 4 x 4 aandrijving dus hebben wij hier geen problemen mee gehad.

Le site est extraordinaire, certe il y a la route pour arriver au gîte, mais quel joyau. Le gîte est beau, joliment aménagé, les chambres sont grandes, c'est très propre . L'accueil de Nicoletta est très chaleureux. Une belle adresse pour les amoureux de la nature.
