Montaione Harmony: Lodging

Beautiful location. A good base for beautiful trips, such as Pisa, Sienna and Florence. The house and the inventory were a bit sober. For 9 people it is a bit crowded, we think it is better for 6. But the house was clean enough. The swimmingpool was very nice. And we used the tenniscourt a few times. We could even use the washingmachine in a seperate building. So overall we were happy.

Lokatie is prachtig, het huisje is mooi. Maar de inrichting van het huisje is erg gedateerd. Sommige dingen waren kapot, serviesgoed is er niet voldoende. Er zijn 7 oude keukenstoelen en 2 lage keukenstoelen een doorgezakte slaapbank voor een appartement voor 9 personen. Bedden zijn veel smaller dan het bedframe en erg hard. Jammer, want zou een fantastisch appartement zijn met een goede opknapbeurt. Na boeking bleek het zwembad pas in mei open te gaan, bij aankomst was dit pas 15 mei. Wij hadden veel problemen met het sanitair, positief was de inzet van de lokale beheerder die echt zijn best deed het toilet te vervangen en de douche te repareren. Ook de bemiddeling van Bell Villa zorgde dat er steeds hulp kwam bij problemen.

Location is beautiful, the house is beautiful. But the interior of the house is very dated. Some things were broken, there is not enough crockery. There are 7 old kitchen chairs and 2 low kitchen chairs and a sagging sofa bed for an apartment for 9 people. Beds are much narrower than the bed frame and very hard. Too bad, because it would be a fantastic apartment with a good renovation. After booking it turned out that the swimming pool would not open until May, but upon arrival this was only May 15. We had many problems with the plumbing, but the efforts of the local manager were positive, who really did his best to replace the toilet and repair the shower. Bell Villa's mediation also ensured that help was always available in case of problems.

Appartementen gesitueerd in een oude boerderij met zwembad en prachtig uitzicht. Zeer centraal gelegen tussen oa Pisa, Volterra ,San Gimnano, Siena. Prachtige omgeving. Supermarkten op 7 min rijden met de auto. Appartement is minimalistische en wat verouderd ingericht ( Italiaanse stijl, wat je nodig heb is er) het is schoon en goede bedden , 50 mtr verderop iedere dag vers brood halen in een buurtwinkeltje. Hele aardige en vriendelijke hostess. We hadden een paar puntjes maar dit heeft ze prima opgepakt Spreekt goed Engels.

Apartments situated in an old farmhouse with swimming pool and beautiful view. Very centrally located between Pisa, Volterra, San Gimnano, Siena. Beautiful environment. Supermarkets 7 minutes away by car. Apartment is minimalist and somewhat outdated (Italian style, what you need is there) it is clean and good beds, 50 meters away get fresh bread every day in a local shop. Very nice and friendly hostess. We had a few niggles but she picked it up just fine. Speaks good English.

Wij verbleven hier 1 week. Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk, kregen een rondleiding door heel het huis en zoals doorgegeven stonden er ook 2 kinderstoelen en 2 babybedjes bij aankomst. Woning is typisch Italiaans, vrij basic maar wel alles super schoon! Wij hadden het geluk dat de andere appartementen niet waren verhuurd dus hadden wij het fantastische zwembad helemaal privé. Dit huis is zeker een aanrader!

We stayed here for 1 week. Reception was very friendly, got a tour of the whole house and as passed, there were also 2 high chairs and 2 cots on arrival. House is typical Italian, quite basic but everything super clean! We were lucky that the other apartments were not rented out so we had the fantastic pool completely private. This house is definitely recommended!
