Small-scale holiday resort Villapark De Koog is situated on the wonderful Frisian island of Texel and opened its doors in 2019. You'll find the North-Sea beach (400 m), the vibrant town centre of De Koog (600 m) and the Texel Dunes National Park all within walking distance.
Villapark De Koog consists of a range of luxury, comfortable, eco-friendly (semi) detached, 4-to-12-person villas with sauna. There are no facilities within the park itself, making it a wonderfully quiet place to stay, but you can find everything you may need within easy reach. The reception is located at Campsite De Shelter, 100 m away from Villapark De Koog. You can also order bread and rent (electric) bicycles here. This campsite also has a small playground. You can make use of the various facilities at two other nearby campsites (Kogerstrand at 1.3 km and De Krim at 9.7 km) as well. You'll find an indoor playground, and an indoor and outdoor pool at De Krim, for example. Guests staying at Villapark De Koog receive free entrance tickets for this swimming pool. And they receive a 30% discount on the green fee for the local golf course.
There are plenty more things to do nearby. The little ones will love the Sommeltjespad, a themed nature walk. Ecomare is also worth a visit. It has a natural museum and you can watch the seals being fed. The Juttersmuseum houses an interesting collection of things found by beachcombers during the past 75 years. Seaside resort De Koog hosts a wide range of shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes. There are many festivals throughout the year. Horseback riding enthusiasts can choose from several different riding schools. If you have sufficient experience, you can join a beach ride. There are plenty of beaches here of course, and those looking for peace, quiet and nature will also be able to find some nice spots. Villapark De Koog is situated just outside De Nederlanden. This unique nature reserve is part of the Texel Dunes National Park. It is characterised by its beautiful, steep dunes. The area is grazed by Galloway cattle and sheep. Don't forget to visit De Slufter, a very special natural area with an open connection to the North Sea. Much-loved by many bird species. Especially in spring, the area becomes a top destination for bird-watchers. With 140 km of cycling lanes, Texel is the perfect place to go cycling. And a nice outdoor cafe for a break is never too far away.

Ruhiger Ferienpark. Sehr schöne Häuser. Eigentlich alles prima. Die Sauberkeit des Hauses lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Innen wie außen: Die Terrassen haben wir schmutzig angetroffen. Den Zustand des Außensofas haben wir reklamiert, dies wurde dann auch nachgereinigt. Die Terrasse, auf dem das Sofa steht wurde aber nicht mit gereinigt. Wir haben die Terrasse nicht explizit reklamiert, allerdings waren die Verschmutzungen so offensichtlich, dass man das mit dem Sofa hätte - auch ohne Aufforderung - nach reinigen müssen. Im Haus lag schon beim Checkin an mehreren Stellen Staub und auch Spinnenweben gab es an einigen Stellen. Trotz dieser Mängel verbringen wir einen schönen Urlaub, allerdings erwarte ich in diesem Preissegment innen wie außen Sauberkeit.

Topvilla!! Precies zoals omschreven!! Prachtig privé zwembad, heerlijke sauna en stoomcabine, goede bedden. En alles fris en schoon. Goed gelegen, vlak bij het leuke boulevard De Koog. En verder met de auto alles op gemiddeld een kwartier afstand. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! Jammer dat er alleen geen klein afdak is dan had je op de wat mindere dagen ook lekker buiten kunnen zitten.

Villapark de Koog is een prachtig park geheel aangepast aan de tijd van nu. Vooral het zwembad in het huisje was een groot feest met daarnaast ook nog eens een sauna en stoomcabine. Interieur was mooi en spaarzaam, prima dus.
