Chairs are not so comfortable

Vorab sei gesagt, dass wir schon unzählige Male in NL waren und Appartemente, Hotels und Häusern an diversen Standorten gemietet hatten. Auch sind wir bereit relativ Geld auszugeben um ein schönen Urlaubszuhause zu haben. Wir hatten im Mai 2022 erst 2, dann 3 Appartments (Großeltern, Familie, Schwägerin Hund) im Haus für eine Woche gebucht. Schon die Kommunikation nach dem Buchungsprozess hinsichtlich des Hundes war überaus kompliziert. Über 30 Mail und mehrere Telefonate (teils auch über eine niederländischen Freund!) hat es in Anspruch genommen. Die schriftliche Zusage der Agentur (...we assure you that the dog is added to your booking!) war dann auch nicht gültig, so dass wir ein 3tes Apartment dazubuchen mussten um nicht den ganzen Urlaub in den Sand zusetzen. Zu dem Appartements selbst muss man wissen, dass es sich um ein altes renoviertes Haus handelt, es ist sehr hellhörig, die Türen zu den Appartements schliessen sehr laut. Bei der Ankunft funktionierte das Zahlenschloss an dem Appartment er Großeltern nicht und sie mussten länger im Treppenhaus warten bis Hilfe kam. Was in den Beschreibung dezent unter den Teppich gekehrt wird, dass die meisten Schlafzimmer innen liegen und keinerlei Fenster haben. Man kann also nicht Lüften o.ä. Im Appartment im EG (mit 2 Schlafzimmern) gab es in dem kleineren Schlafzimmer ein Fenster. Dies ist jedoch nur mit einem Lüftungsschlitz am Fenster versehen und man kann das Fenster als solches nicht öffnen. Insgesamt verspricht da Appartment und die Agentur in Bild und Text viel, was vor Ort nicht gehalten werden kann, oder sehr irreführend ist. In einem Satz zusammengefasst, mehr Schein als sein, der Service und die Kommunikation ist sehr sperrig, teilweise überhaupt nicht zielführend. Schade dass das Objekt und die Agentur weit unter den Möglichkeiten bleibt.

It should be said in advance that we have been to NL countless times and have rented apartments, hotels and houses in various locations. We are also willing to spend relatively money to have a nice holiday home. In May 2022 we had booked first 2, then 3 apartments (grandparents, family, sister-in-law dog) in the house for a week. Even the communication after the booking process regarding the dog was extremely complicated. It took over 30 emails and several phone calls (partly also via a Dutch friend!). The written promise from the agency (...we assure you that the dog is added to your booking!) was not valid either, so we had to book a 3rd apartment so that we didn't ruin the whole holiday. You have to know about the apartments themselves that it is an old renovated house, it is very noisy, the doors to the apartments close very loudly. Upon arrival, the combination lock on the grandparents' apartment didn't work and they had to wait longer in the stairwell for help to come. What is subtly swept under the carpet in the description is that most of the bedrooms are interior and have no windows. So you can not air or similar. In the apartment on the ground floor (with 2 bedrooms) there was a window in the smaller bedroom. However, this is only provided with a ventilation slot on the window and you cannot open the window as such. All in all, the apartment and the agency promise a lot in pictures and text that cannot be kept on site, or is very misleading. Summarized in one sentence, more appearances than reality, the service and communication is very bulky, sometimes not at all effective. It's a shame that the property and the agency are far below the possibilities.
