Holiday Park Giethoorn is located in the centre of the "Venice of the north". The village is known for the water, and on the park, this is no different. The entrance via the (steep) wooden foot bridge and the location on the banks of the Bovenwijde lake (with various water sports options) are lovely evidence of this. The surroundings are perfect for lovely walking and cycling excursions. The Weerribben-Wieden nature area is just around the corner. Cities such as Heerenveen (approx. 31 km) and Zwolle (approx. 38 km) are also easy to reach and well worth the trip. The park has a charming cafe where you can relax and enjoy something to eat and drink after a day full of activities, or really, whenever you like. There is also a play area for the children. All of these options make Holiday Park Giethoorn an ideal location for a lovely stay.

Step outside through the garden doors to your private terrace overlooking the water. A true highlight is the electric sloop moored at your own jetty—yours to explore Giethoorn’s magical canals from February through October. The chalet is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and essential kitchen appliances, blending modern convenience with scenic tranquility. While cars stay at the central park lot 400 meters away, the journey across the charming footbridge sets the tone for a unique, laid-back stay.

Specifics
- Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 21.
- Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged 50 p.p. deposit.
- from 2 March to 1 November the accommodation also includes a electric boat. Holiday park Giethoorn will ask a deposit of € 35
- It’s not allowed for companies to make bookings for employees who will stay with other reason than recreation.
