Boomhiemke holiday park is a midsize holiday park with various facilities. It is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Ameland at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and adjacent to the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve. Here you are free to enjoy a pristine natural setting that offers ultimate rest and relaxation. The good location close to the beach makes Boomhiemke a popular holiday destination.
The park has more than enough to experience for visitors of all ages. There is a bowling alley, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, various playgrounds and a wellness centre. A recreation team is available during school holidays. They organise activities that you can take part in free of charge. And there is also plenty to see and do beyond the park itself. You can explore the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve and of course the beach. Nearby villages, such as Hollum with its charming little shops, restaurants and cafes, are well worth a visit, as are the museums.
Ameland is a relatively small island, so it's ideal for exploring by bicycle. You can simply hire bikes at the park, or bring your own bikes along. Ameland holiday park: a great holiday destination for the whole family, where you can really unwind and experience ultimate relaxation!
Spacious Villa by the Dunes
Stay in a comfortable villa at Boomhiemke Holiday Park, just steps from sandy dunes and the beach. The home features three bedrooms with box-spring beds, two bathrooms, and an inviting living room with modern amenities. A well-equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, and central heating ensure a convenient stay. Outside, unwind on the private terrace with garden furniture, while children and pets enjoy the fenced garden. Guests also have access to a shared indoor pool and family-friendly facilities within the park.

Located near Hollum, the villa is perfectly positioned for long walks through dune landscapes, cycling along scenic island trails, or exploring nearby beaches where pets can run freely. The historic lighthouse, golf course, and nature reserves make great day outings, while the wide-open spaces of Ameland are perfect for picnics and pet-friendly activities in the fresh sea air.

- Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 21.
- In the week of 5.12.22 - 11.12.22 the facilities are closed in the midweeks.
- Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged EURO 100 p.p. deposit.
- Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. Because of Corona, pedestrians must also book in advance from 16 June to join the ferry. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl
- We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the period 01-11-2021 to April 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreation program.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana meravigliosamente rilassante qui, La villa era pulita, confortevole e ben progettata per le nostre esigenze, I bambini amavano l'area della piscina e noi abbiamo apprezzato le brevi distanze sia dalla spiaggia che dalle attrazioni locali

bij onze aankomst werden we verrast door het bericht dat de woning verder weg lag dan we dachten. In de info stond buiten het park, dat klopt, maar alles bij elkaar is het zeker 2 km lopen wat echt niet te doen is met bagage. Ons hele idee dat bv. de kinderen dagelijks even naar bv het zwembad zouden kunnen lopen is ineens heel anders... maar goed overal is een oplossing voor, fietsen gehuurd, gevraagd of onze bagage misschien even gebracht kon worden door de technische dienst ( we waren met de bus gekomen) Het huis was prima, de ligging ook, mooi uitzicht en geweldig dicht bij het strand en het dorp. Tip zet met koeienletters in uw aanbieding het huis ligt helemaal niet bij Boomhiemke !

Prima Belvilla huisje waarvan echt genoten. Wel heel jammer dat over het bedlinnen een misverstand is ontstaan. Wij hebben gemaild en gebeld maar helaas zonder resultaat waardoor wij euro 81,00 extra hebben moeten betalen.Helaas een minpunt voor Belvilla.

Es war alles sehr gut und schön. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die Anreise. An der Rezeption teilte man uns mit, dass die Unterkunft 3km weg ist, da hatten wir das Taxi aber schon wieder weggeschickt. Das muss klarer formuliert werden.
