Pet friendly getaway

Jaarlijks gaan we in de herfst naar Ameland. Dit jaar waren voor de eerste keer op het park Boomhiemke. Drie jaar geleden waren we daar op bezoek bij onze kinderen. Het park is ruim opgezet: ruime huizen, grote kavels. De inrichting ziet er verzorgd uit en is gebruiksvriendelijk. Wat ik persoonlijk erg waardeer is dat de keuken zo ruim voorzien is van serviesgoed en pannen: hulde voor dit accent. Ik voel me als herboren na mijn dagelijks bezoek aan het zwembad. Een min-puntje heb ik gemeld bij de receptie: het toilet rook "niet-fris", zelfs niet na een gedegen schoonmaakbeurt. Volgend jaar komen we graag terug, maar ....wel in een huis-met-een-fris-toilet.

Every year we go to Ameland in the fall. This year we visited the Boomhiemke park for the first time. Three years ago we visited our children there. The park is spacious: spacious houses, large lots. The interior looks neat and is user-friendly. What I personally really appreciate is that the kitchen is so well equipped with crockery and pans: kudos for this accent. I feel reborn after my daily pool visit. I reported a minus point to the reception: the toilet smelled "not fresh", even after a thorough cleaning. We would like to come back next year, but .... in a house-with-a-fresh toilet.

In november een weekje Ameland. Zo wat alleen op het strand. Heerlijk uitwaaien en dagelijks 15 km wandelen door een prachtige omgeving. Weer zat reuze mee. Wat een rust op het park Boomhiemke waar we netjes werden ontvangen bij de receptie. Sleutel en info in ontvangst nemen en op naar het huisje. Alle benodigdheden voor handen en prima bedden. We hebben een mooie week gehad. Let op van te voren wel nagaan of de hond mee mag (hadden we wel gedaan) . Niet in ieder huisje mag de hond mee.

Ameland for a week in November. So what alone on the beach. Get a breath of fresh air and walk 15 km daily through beautiful surroundings. Again it was great. What a rest in the Boomhiemke park where we were received nicely at the reception. Receive key and info and on to the house. All necessities for hands and good beds. We had a great week. Please note in advance whether the dog is allowed to come along (we would have done). The dog is not allowed in every house.

Lange rij bij inchecken. Verder lag er vies beddengoed in de bedstee, was de wcborstel smerig ,geen badlinnen voor 3 personen, geen zakjes in de pedaalemmers, er lagen kruimels op het aanrecht , de eettafel en stoelen en in de koelkast . De ramen aan de tuinzijde waren zeer smerig . Het huisje zelf is prima , ook de inrichting en de tuin. De bedden waren voor ons te zacht en de wc was opvallend hoog, als ook de banken extra diep zodat wij met bungelende benen zaten. Telkens gingen de lampen boven de eettafel uit omdat systeem vies was!

Long line at check-in. Furthermore, there was dirty bedding in the box bed, the toilet brush was filthy, no bath linen for 3 people, no bags in the pedal bins, there were crumbs on the counter, the dining table and chairs and in the fridge. The windows on the garden side were very filthy. The cottage itself is fine, also the decor and the garden. The beds were too soft for us and the toilet was remarkably high, as were the couches extra deep so that we were dangling legs. Telkens the lights above the dining table went out because the system was dirty!

Unser Ferienhaus war bei unserer Ankunft sehr dreckig und auch vom allgemeinen Zustand her nicht akzeptabel. Die Fenster waren undicht, es roch leicht schimmelig, der Abfluss in der Dusche war verstopft, in der Küche gab es keine einzige heile Tasse u.s.w Das Haus war einfach renovierungsbedürftig und daher total überteuert. Wir haben uns am zweiten Tag an der Rezeption beschwert, doch die Mitarbeiterin wusste auch nicht, was sie uns anbieten sollte, außer einem Gutschein für die Bowlingbahn. Da wir mit unserem kleinen Baby dort waren, konnten wir damit herzlich wenig anfangen. Man wollte sich dann am nächsten Tag telefonisch mit einer Lösung bei uns melden. Das passierte aber nicht.

Our cottage was when we arrived very dirty and also the general state it unacceptable. The windows were leaking, it smelled slightly moldy, the shower drain was clogged, in the kitchen there was not a single heal cup u.s.w The house was just in need of renovation and therefore totally overpriced. We complained on the second day at the reception, but the assistant also did not know what to give us, except for a voucher for the bowling alley. Since we were with our little baby there, we were able to begin very little. They then tried to phone the next day report with a solution with us. But that did not happen.

Von Anreise bis Abreise war der Aufenthalt völlig entspannt. Gleich am ersten Tag bei der Fahrradvermietung vor Ort zwei Räder gemietet, die ermöglicht haben, das Auto für den ganzen Urlaub stehen zu lassen. Das kleine Willkommenspaket mit Toilettenpapier, Geschirrspültabs, Streichhölzern (Gasherd), etc. war eine sehr nette Geste. Es gab jeden Morgen frische Brötchen sowie das notwendigste in dem kleinen Supermarkt der Anlage die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit war in Hollum (10 min. mit dem Fahrrad). Dort findet man auch einen EC-Automaten. Im Haus selber fehlte es an nichts. Geschirr, Gläser, Stauraum war umfangreich vorhanden. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir fahren wieder hin.

From arrival to departure the experience was totally entspannt.Gleich rented on the first day at the bike rental place two wheels that have enabled the car for the whole holiday to lassen.Das small welcome pack of toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, matches (gas cooker) etc. was a very nice Geste.Es gave fresh bread every morning and the most necessary in the small supermarket attached the nearest supermarket was in Hollum (10 min. by bike). There you can find a EC-Automaten.Im house itself lacked nothing. Dishes, glasses, storage space was extensive vorhanden.Auch the cleanliness desired offen.Wir go again.

Waren tevreden over het appartement. Nadeel van het park opzich waren we zeer ontevreden. Klein zwembadje met weinig tot geen leuke dingen. Alles qua restaurant,bowling,snackbar waren om 2100u al dicht. Over het algemeen vonden we de prijs die we voor deze vakantie hebben betaald zeer duur. Dit allemaal omdat er weinig tot niets meer te doen was na 2100u

Were satisfied with the appartement.Nadeel park Flashy we were very ontevreden.Klein pool with little to no fun in terms dingen.Alles restaurant, bowling, snack bar were to 2100U all dicht.Over overall we thought the price we paid for this holiday paid very duur.Dit all because there was little to nothing to do after 2100U
