Boomhiemke holiday park is a midsize holiday park with various facilities. It is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Ameland at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and adjacent to the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve. Here you are free to enjoy a pristine natural setting that offers ultimate rest and relaxation. The good location close to the beach makes Boomhiemke a popular holiday destination.
The park has more than enough to experience for visitors of all ages. There is a bowling alley, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, various playgrounds and a wellness centre. A recreation team is available during school holidays. They organise activities that you can take part in free of charge. And there is also plenty to see and do beyond the park itself. You can explore the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve and of course the beach. Nearby villages, such as Hollum with its charming little shops, restaurants and cafes, are well worth a visit, as are the museums.
Ameland is a relatively small island, so it's ideal for exploring by bicycle. You can simply hire bikes at the park, or bring your own bikes along. Ameland holiday park: a great holiday destination for the whole family, where you can really unwind and experience ultimate relaxation!

Welcome to your relaxing coastal retreat on the scenic Frisian Island of Ameland! This modern, ground-floor bungalow (built in 2019) is nestled within the popular Holiday Park Boomhiemke—just a short walk from the sea. With four bedrooms, including three with box spring beds and one with a bunk bed, this home comfortably sleeps up to eight guests. The bright living area with a flat-screen TV and a separate dining space is perfect for unwinding after a day of beachside fun.

The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, featuring a combination microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Two bathrooms offer added convenience for families or groups. Step outside to your private terrace with garden furniture—ideal for morning coffees or evening dinners in the sea breeze. There’s also central heating for cooler nights and private parking for one car.
Coastal Charm & Local Dining
Located in the charming village of Hollum, you’re just minutes from the beach and scenic walking trails along the Ameland dunes. Explore the nearby lighthouse or bike through the stunning nature reserves. After a day of adventure, dine at local favorites like Cantina Dolores or StrAnders, known for fresh island dishes and cozy atmospheres.
Specifics
- Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 21.
- In the week of 5.12.22 - 11.12.22 the facilities are closed in the midweeks.
- Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged EURO 100 p.p. deposit.
- Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. Because of Corona, pedestrians must also book in advance from 16 June to join the ferry. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl
- We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the period 01-11-2021 to April 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreation program.

Ameland ist einfach nur schön,die Unterkunft war gut, es fehlen ein paar Ablageflächen z.B. in der Dusche und es ist hellhörig,Nachts die Toilettenspülung ist schon laut😊aber es gibt schlimmeres.Der Service war super, wir kommen gerne wieder

Lodge viel zwaar tegen. Prijs / kwaliteit slecht Erg gehorig en veel te krap als je er met 8 personen in verblijft. Wij boeken nooit meer bij Belvilla.

Sehr schönes Haus und Anlage. Zum Stand sind es ca. 20 Min zu zu laufen. Leider mangelte es an Sauberkeit. Beim Einzug fanden wir alte Socken im Schrank und hinter der Türe. Eine Endreinigung fand nicht oder nur schlecht statt. Dafür, dass man viel dafür bezahlen muss, müsste es sauberer sein. Nach unserer eigenen Reinigung, hatten wir eine wunderschönen Urlaub.

Een mooi huisje, ziet er netjes, verzorgd en modern uit! De ruimte en indeling is prima. Een 8 persoons huisje vinden we geschikt voor 6 a 7 mensen. De huisjes staan dicht op elkaar, veel huizen op het park dus,dat is een beetje jammer,vinden wij. Mooi dat het strand en andere voorzieningen op loopafstand zijn!

de schoonmaak was amper gedaan het huisje zat vol insecten en de pullenbakken nog vol met afval van de mensen ervoor incl. op het toilet. Voor de rest een prima huisje.

Het huisje is qua ruimte prima. Maar het is niet schoon. De badkamer was gewoon vies. Haren in het putje. Wc niet schoon! Dat was erg jammer.

Keinerlei Flexibilität und Bereitschaft zur Umbuchung auf andere freie Unterkünfte vorhanden, trotz Bereitschaft den Aufpreis dafür zu zahlen. Der Wunsch wurde aufgrund erhebliicher Mängel: (Terassentür ließ sich nicht öffnen, Weg zu Terasse war so nur um das Haus herum durch Sanddühnen möglich)

Aankomst prima. Accommodatie eveneens. Wel veel te dicht op de andere huizen. Door welk raam je ook keek er was altijd dichtbij een ander huis. Had ik niet verwacht.

De accommodatie was erg mooi. Goede bedden, leuk interieur. Maar een heel groot min punt , het huisje was bijzonder vies. Het fornuis had nog etens resten van de vorige gasten. Badkamer en toilet gewoon vuil. Er lagen in de slaapkamer vuile kleding van vorige gasten ..gewoon goor . Het ergste vind ik , Bell Villa doet er niks mee, toen ik een klacht indiende.

Accomodatie is prima maar bij aankomst was pas om 16.15uur de bungalow gereed. Toen wij eindelijk erin mochten renden er nog 8 meiden/dames door het huis.
