Through its location on the edge of the Kootwijkerzand (the largest drift dune area in Western Europe), holiday park de Berkenhorst is ideal for walking and cycling enthusiasts. A beautiful location for taking trips through the extensive forests and beautiful heaths. The park is also very suitable as a base for excursions to the Apenheul in Apeldoorn (approx. 10 km), Het Loo Palace (approx. 13 km), the Krüller-Möller Museum in Otterlo (about 20 km) or the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk (approx. 25 km away). The car-free park has many nice facilities, such as sports options, play equipment for the children, etc. Holiday Park de Berkenhorst is highly recommended for every age.
Tucked away in the scenic village of Kootwijk, this single-floor bungalow offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Specifics
- From 7 July to 2 September there is entertainment for young and old.
- If your pet is not requested, access to the park and the booked accommodation can be refused upon arrival. Please contact our customer contact center for this.
- Reservations made by companies for their own employees are always on request. If the reservation is approved then the following rules will be applied: a maximum of 1 employee per bedroom, every two weeks an extra final cleaning is calculated, every two weeks new bed linen is calculated.
- Holiday park de Berkenhorst is a car-free park. You must park your car in the central parking lot.
- The restaurant, the bowling and the arcade is temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances. This is expected to take several weeks to several months.
- The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described
- Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
- This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only. Bookings on behalf of companies will be cancelled and possible cancellation costs will be charged
- Pets need to be mentioned during the booking process due to limited availability
- This accommodation is located in a holiday park. There are multiple units. To book more than one unit, please contact us via chat.
- For groups (such as groups of friends), young people and last-minute bookings, a deposit of € 50 p..p. / 500 p.p. may apply.

We hebben genoten...ruim huisje..goede bedden...mooie omgeving..we gaan er zeker nog een keer terug

1 augustus slecht schoon gemaakt weinig te doen ( eigenlijk niks) personeel vriendelijk ( behalve de schoonmaaksters)

We hebben genoten van de omgeving en de rust. wij zijn een jong gezin met 2 kinderen onder de 3 jaar. Het huisje was groot genoeg en een lekkere sauna. Het keukentje zaten haken en ogen aan. (helaas deden zij er niks mee) Het Kleine subtropische zwembad word niet goed schoongehouden. Als er veel gezinnen zijn is de wachttijd lang om kleine kinderen aan te kleden er is 1 hokje met aankleed kussen.. We hadden gevraagd en suggesties neer gelegd helaas doen ze niks mee kost te veel. Hygiëne in het restaurant is ook niet goed. lag zoveel stof en er word niet geveegd of gezogen. In de week dat wij er waren lag alles nog precies zo vies op de grond. Maaltijden waren prima hoor maar met kleintjes eet je snel thuis in het huisje. Mensen die van tennis ,fietsen houden is het park super. Voor jonge gezinnen geen optie.
