Through its location on the edge of the Kootwijkerzand (the largest drift dune area in Western Europe), holiday park de Berkenhorst is ideal for walking and cycling enthusiasts. A beautiful location for taking trips through the extensive forests and beautiful heaths. The park is also very suitable as a base for excursions to the Apenheul in Apeldoorn (approx. 10 km), Het Loo Palace (approx. 13 km), the Krüller-Möller Museum in Otterlo (about 20 km) or the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk (approx. 25 km away). The car-free park has many nice facilities, such as sports options, play equipment for the children, etc. Holiday Park de Berkenhorst is highly recommended for every age.

Specifics
- From 7 July to 2 September there is entertainment for young and old.
- If your pet is not requested, access to the park and the booked accommodation can be refused upon arrival. Please contact our customer contact center for this.
- Reservations made by companies for their own employees are always on request. If the reservation is approved then the following rules will be applied: a maximum of 1 employee per bedroom, every two weeks an extra final cleaning is calculated, every two weeks new bed linen is calculated.
- Holiday park de Berkenhorst is a car-free park. You must park your car in the central parking lot.
- The restaurant, the bowling and the arcade is temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances. This is expected to take several weeks to several months.
- The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described
- Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
- This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only. Bookings on behalf of companies will be cancelled and possible cancellation costs will be charged
- Pets need to be mentioned during the booking process due to limited availability
- This accommodation is located in a holiday park. There are multiple units. To book more than one unit, please contact us via chat.
- For groups (such as groups of friends), young people and last-minute bookings, a deposit of € 50 p..p. / 500 p.p. may apply.
- If boat rental is included at the accommodation, or if the stay coincides with local fairs and festivals, a security deposit may be charged.

Het was heerlijk verblijven met de kids in het huis met sauna. Zelf met wat slechter weer was dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis. Sochtends heerlijke verse warme croissantjes en chocoladebroodjes. Een aanrader!

Het huisje was uitgesproken vies. Een spuitbus en een doekje zijn niet voldoende. Sommige gedeelten van het huis waren in tijden niet schoon gemaakt. We hebben deze klacht gelijk en bij vertrek doorgegeven. We betalen 65 euro extra voor de schoonmaakkosten. Dan verwacht je ook een schoon huisje. We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad, de mensen op het vakantiepark waren vriendelijk. Het huisje redelijk schoon, het rook lekker fris. De omgeving was prachtig.

Het park is bij ons bekend, het is rustig en prachtig gelegen in de Veluwe. Het huisje was schoon en na aankomst kwam de schoonmaakploeg nog vragen of alles naar wens was.

Het huisje was oke, niet meer dan dat. Heerlijk die sauna in het huisje! Maar ouderwets interieur en de muren waren gewoon dringend aan onderhoud toe. De kussens waren ronduit vreselijk! Meer dan genoeg serviesgoed aanwezig. gratis wifi kon maar op 4 apparaten tegelijk worden aangezet en dat in een 6 persoonshuisje! Het winkeltje stelde niks voor! en was meer gesloten dan open, en dat in het weekend! Heerlijk dat de kat mee kon, die heeft het meer dan goed naar zijn zin gehad.

Natuurlijk buiten het seizoen, dus rustig (geen kinderen) maar een heerlijk parkje, vriendelijk personeel en aan het huisje ontbrak niks. Uitstekende ligging pal aan het Kootwijkerzand. Eten in het restaurant is overigens ook prima.
