Forestpark Markelo offers a small taste of what makes the area so famous; peace and nature. Although the holidaypark Markelo is characterized by its tranquility, you can use the facilities that the adjacent Buitencentrum has to offer. On beautiful summer days you can, for example, take a dip in the swimming pool and have a bite to eat at Buur & Buuf, a famous local eatery.
The pleasant village of Markelo is around 2.5 km away. and has nice shops, a few museums and pleasant terraces to offer. Nature lovers have found their place here. De Borkeld nature reserve and the Sallandse Heuvelrug are both within cycling distance and offer countless beautiful walking and cycling routes. If you did not bring your own bicycles, you can rent them at the holiday park. The city of Deventer (approx. 30 km.) has a rich history and a lively centre with many sights.

The park is very nice.The house had everything we needed: quiet area, sitting area outside. The House is modern.- The house was clean. This is also very important for us. - We will come again.
Niet goed geholpen aan telefoon ,Senseo niet aanwezig ,koffiezetter vuil met oud filter er nog in. Moesten wij alsnog op pad om koffie te scoren.
