The Buitenhof de Leistert is a lovely luxurious holiday, or better said, farm villa park, it is an expansion of the existing recreation park de Leistert with its many facilities. Buitenhof de Leistert is located in the varied landscape of Middle Limburg, and is surrounded by a beautiful natural area. Shady lanes, farms, fruit orchards and meandering brooks make this experience of times past complete. The villas in the Limburg farmhouse style are characterized by lovely architecture. The park is spacious. You'll enjoy complete peace and space and have all of the necessary facilities on hand to make your holiday complete. On the park there are covered and open air swimming pools, various playgrounds, a rowing lake, cycle hire and much more. The area is perfect for cycling and/or walking excursions. Roermond, with its atmospheric downtown, Maastricht, the White Town of Thorn, the thermal baths at Arcen and Toverland are certainly worth a visit. Water sports lovers can paddle to their hearts' content in the Maas lakes. Buitenhof de Leistert, what more could you want?
This charming 7-person holiday farm in traditional Limburg farming style is set in a spacious garden within a five-star family-friendly park in Midden-Limburg. The home covers 130 m² over two floors and includes three bedrooms—one on the ground floor with a double bed featuring separate mattresses, and two upstairs bedrooms: one with a double bed and single bed, and another with two single beds. Two bathrooms add convenience, with one featuring a shower and the other both a shower and bathtub.
Designed with families in mind, this child-friendly Comfort version includes all the comforts such as underfloor heating, a flat-screen TV, spacious terrace, and dishwasher, along with added family-friendly features. These include a fenced garden, washing-dry combination, stair gate, shielded wall sockets, a cart, cot, playpen, and high chair, ensuring a safe and relaxing stay for everyone.
The park offers a broad range of activities and facilities for all ages. Guests can enjoy Adventure Golf, hyperbowling, and a subtropical swimming pool with slides, rapids, and a whirlpool. The recreation team organizes fun family events, while dining options range from quick snacks at Mr. Friet to cozy meals at La Selva Food & Drinks, Italian cuisine at Via Verde, or grilling your own food at Restaurant Grillo. The location is ideal for exploring Limburg’s nature and culture, with nearby attractions like Roermond’s Designer Outlet, Maastricht, and national parks within easy reach.
Note: Swimming pool will be closed from Monday, January 19, 2026, to Thursday, February 5, 2026, due to necessary maintenance work on the pool complex.
Specifics
- On Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, all facilities will be closed from 4 p.m.
- In addition to the comfort farm villas NL-6088-02 (5-pers.), NL-6088-06 (7-pers.) and NL-6088-10 (9-pers.), there are also luxury farm villas. These have, in addition to the furnishings of the comfort types, a sauna, a whirlpool, a washing machine/dryer combination and a flat screen in one or more bedrooms. The luxury types are NL-6088-04 (5-pers.), NL-6088-08 (7-pers.), NL-6088-12 (9-pers.), NL-6088-14 (11-pers.) and NL-6088-16 (13-pers.).
- There is also a child friendly variant available for all available types. A crib, playpen and high chair are standard in these villas. You will also find a wagon, stair gate on top of the stairs, protected wall outlets, washing machine/dryer combination, and the garden is enclosed. The child friendly types are NL-6088-03 (5-pers. comfort), NL-6088-05 (5-pers. lux.), NL-6088-07 (7-pers. comfort), NL-6088-09 (7-pers. lux.), NL-6088-11 (9-pers. comfort), NL-6088-13 (9-pers. lux.), NL-6088-15 (11-pers. lux.) and NL-6088-17 (13-pers. lux.).
- There are farm villas where pets are allowed. Pets are only accepted on request. To arrange this, contact the customer service centre by phone. If the pet is not previously approved, access to the park may be refused.
- For a fee, there is also access to a wifi network for the laptop or smart phone.
- The adventure water playground in our water play area, cannot be commissioned until further notice (expected to March 2024)
- There is a temporary Pop-Up facility called 'Arcade Games XL' from October 2023 to March 2024; all information can be found at https://www.leistert.nl/arcade-games-xl
- Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
- This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only. Bookings on behalf of companies will be cancelled and possible cancellation costs will be charged

Die Häuser waren sehr schön und sauber. Den Kids haben die Spielplätze sowie die Grünflächen für Ballspiele sehr gut gefallen. Das Schwimmbad hätte größer sein können mit mehr Rutschen

Die Ankunft war gut. Die reception war freundlich. Die kurtaxe ist in Relation sehr hoch. Auch das diese für Kleinstkinder auch komplett bezahlt werden müssen. Das gemietete Haus war gut und geräumig. Allerdings waren an vielen Wänden und den denken überall Flecken von toten Mücken. Hier könnte man mal einen Eimer Farbe im Haus verteilen. Auch befanden sich unter den Betten und in den Ecken viel Staub. Sauber ist definitiv anders! Das ist eigentlich das größte Manko gewesen. Die Sauberkeit. Alle anderen Mängel wie zum Beispiel defekte Lampen, wurden nach Ansprache sofort getauscht!!

Het huis bleek bij aankomst niet schoongemaakt. We hebben direct bij de receptie melding hiervan gemaakt. Vervolgens werd direct actie ondernomen en een schoonmaakploeg gestuurd. Keurig opgelost dus! Verder een ontspannen vakantie gehad. Mooi park met mooie villa's en zeker voor kinderen een walhalla. Veel speelmogelijkheden en vermaak. We vonden het park wel iets te groot, te massaal.
