If you are looking for tranquillity and pleasant scenery, the Kijkduin Holiday Centre is the place for you. It is in a beautifull location just behind the sand dunes. The beach is very easy to get to and you can enjoy refreshing cycle rides. There is an indoor swimming pool with a toddlers pool. As a guest you can use them free of charge. There is a nine hole golf course next to the holiday park. It is easy to visit interesting places such as the Madurodam Miniature World, the Sealife Centre in The Hague/Scheveningen and cities such as Delft and Leiden. Pet-Friendly Adventures by the Sea
Furry friends are welcome too! Take your dog on long, breezy walks through nearby Westduinpark or let them splash freely at Kijkduin’s dog-friendly beach, which allows off-leash fun during designated hours. For something special, explore the nearby “Hondenspeeltuin” (dog playground), where pets can run, climb, and socialize. After a day of wag-worthy adventures, unwind on your private terrace while your pup stretches out in the garden air. With plenty of green space and pet-friendly paths nearby, it’s a holiday both you and your dog will love.
Seaside Eats & Local Flavor
Kijkduin offers a laid-back vibe with plenty of tasty spots just a short walk away. Grab lunch at “Suiderstrand” or enjoy seafood with a sunset view at “Beachclub Birds”—both offer dog-friendly terraces. The Hague’s city center is also within reach for cultural outings and shopping.

Specifics
- Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 21.
- Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Vakantiepark Kijkduin will be closed from Monday 18 November 2024 to Friday 22 November 2024.
- Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged max. 250 p.p. deposit.
- A deposit of 100.- p.p. can be requested upon arrival
- On Monday 12 August 2024, the Tour de France Femmes will take place in The Hague. The finish is near the park, on the Machiel Vrijenhoeklaan. As a result, this street will be closed between 13:30 and 17:00. We would like to advise you to adjust your (travel) plans because you will not be able to reach or leave the park by car during this period.
- You will receive a cost overview by email from the park for the additional costs/local costs. You are required to pay this account before your arrival. This will avoid unnecessary delays on checking in and you will then be able to start your holiday immediately
- Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
- This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only. Bookings on behalf of companies will be cancelled and possible cancellation costs will be charged
- Pets will be allowed on request only and a mandatory final cleaning fee applies
- Pets need to be mentioned during the booking process due to limited availability
- This accommodation is located in a holiday park. There are multiple units. To book more than one unit, please contact us via chat.

Wij zaten in een 6 persoons chalet met z'n 2-en. Ruim genoeg voor 2 personen, maar voor 6 personen was het te klein. Verder was het eenvoudig en schoon. Helaas waren ze het afvalemmertje in de douche vergeten leeg te halen. Dat was een minount. Verder was het prima, ook de locatie.

Our stay at Roompot Vakantiepark Kijkduin began on a frustrating note due to a booking error by Belvilla and poor support from Roompot staff. On our arrival day (June 10), we were only informed at 16:00 that we had to check in in person with proof of payment — just two hours before reception closed. Since we were coming after work, I asked if someone could stay a few minutes late to help us check in. This was firmly denied, and we were told to return the next day — no flexibility or effort to assist, leaving us without accommodation for the night. Customer service was generally disappointing. Staff often gave conflicting or incorrect information: - We were misinformed about reception hours. - We were told the restaurant was closed and the supermarket open — the reverse was true. - No one could answer basic questions like bike rental prices. - When we requested an extra fork (in a 5-person house with only 4), we were asked, “Do you need it tonight?” This lack of knowledge and consistency was seen across multiple staff members. Also, expect extra charges for almost everything. A Comfort 6B house doesn’t include bed linen, towels, or kitchen cloths. Linen costs €13.75 per person; towels, €10.95. That said, there were positives: the location is excellent — just a short walk from the beach. The house itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Park facilities looked nice, though we didn’t get to enjoy them fully. In short, this park has potential, but serious improvements in staff training, communication, and customer care are needed. With better service, it could be a nice vacation spot.

Die Lage des Parks und der Park selber waren in Ordnung. Schade fand ich, dass einige Leute Ihre Mülltüten vor die Türen gestellt haben , welche dann nachts von Tieren aufgerissen wurden und der Müll in der Gegend und auf den Wegen rumlag. Etwas enttäuscht war ich von der Sauberkeit im Haus. Die Sessel und Kissen hatten Flecken, ebenso die Kissenbezüge auf den Matratzen. In der Küche war nicht mehr viel Besteck vorhanden. Positiv war, dass die verstopfte Dusche innerhalb weniger Stunden repariert wurde.

Ontvangst was vriendelijk en de vrij nieuwe accommodatie schoon en netjes. Goede bedden en ruim sanitair in het huisje. Park ligt achter de duinen ideaal voor een strandvakantie. Den Haag biedt verder veel uitgaansmogelijkheden voor als het weer wat minder is. Op het park zelf zijn diverse dingen verouderd en gedateerd. Maar ondanks dat een aanrader binnen Nederland!

De begroeting bij de receptie was vriendelijk. Het huisje was prima, vrij nieuw en leuk ingericht. Wel karig, echt alles moet je bestellen en betalen, handdoeken, bedlinnen etc. Deze huisjes liggen het verst van het strand vandaan, een behoorlijke wandeling. En de route van de ingang naar het huisje loopt via een campinggedeelte met oude, soms vervallen stacaravans. Niet echt uitnodigend.
