Waterpark de MeerParel is a holiday park in a fantastic location with lots of water for recreation. You can take endless boat trips starting from your own accommodation, exploring the canals of Alkmaar, a city famed for its cheeses, or the 'De Zaanse Schans' world heritage site, among many other places. Other cities, such as Haarlem (approx. 21 km. away) and Amsterdam (approx. 30 km. away), are also easily reached by car of public transportation. The park is located on the shores of Uitgeest Lake, which offers a wide range of water sports. There are different kinds of boats for rent and you can also take lessons. The Zwaansmeer (Swan Lake) is about 200 metres from MeerParel. This bathing lake is the perfect place to go for a refreshing dip in warm weather. And you can have a delicious meal at Restaurant 't Schippersrijk while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. Waterpark de MeerParel makes a great base for taking daytrips to nearby cities, but is also a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

met het hele gezin 11 pers. hebben wij een heel fijn paasweekend gehad in een prachtige woning met onze eigen boot voor de deur. heerlijk varen op het uitgeestermeer en verder. De accommodatie was voor ons perfect met twee van alles, konden de kids internetten en de oudjes kaarten. Heel fijn geweest.

we werden goed ontvangen op de receptie. Daar lag een rekening die we al betaald hadden. we kregen 2 appartementen via een sluis werden ze verbonden. we mochten van één appartement niet het zonnescherm niet gebruiken. van het 2de appartement kregen we op verzoek de bediening wel. Ons doucheputje in het ene appartement was verstopt met een hele klont haren. Ik had heel wat meer verwacht van de organisatie Belvilla.
