The park is located on the shores of Uitgeest Lake, which offers a wide range of water sports. There are different kinds of boats for rent and you can also take lessons. The Zwaansmeer (Swan Lake) is about 200 metres from MeerParel. This bathing lake is the perfect place to go for a refreshing dip in warm weather. And you can have a delicious meal at Restaurant 't Schippersrijk while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. Waterpark de MeerParel makes a great base for taking daytrips to nearby cities, but is also a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
