The capital city as far as exporting mussels and oysters is concerned is Yerseke (approx. 8km.). If you like these delicacies or are interested in how they are processed, a visit to this typical Zeeuwse fishing village is a must. Of course, the restaurants only serve fresh produce. All these sights are perfect for combining with a wonderful cycling trip.

Oosterschelde Water Resort is a park under construction. A lot of plants have been planted in the park already, ensuring that it doesn't look bare despite being so new. There may be some noise from building works mid-week. The accommodation has been placed elsewhere, meaning it is in a quiet location. Everything is being done to keep the disturbance to a minimum.
