Our stay at the cottage in Casas da Cerca was truly a delightful experience! Had een geweldige tijd in de cottage! Het privézwembad was een hit bij onze familie, en we hielden van het buitendininggebied, Het was een beetje afgelegen, maar dat voegde alleen maar toe aan de charme, De nabijgelegen restaurants waren ook een leuke aanvulling!

Die Ankunft war nicht so schön, da wir es nicht gefunden haben und nur durch Hilfe eines Nachbarn und später der Besitzerin zur Unterkunft kamen. Es war bereits dunkel und das Haus liegt so abgelegen, dass unser Navi aufgab. Die Unterkunft ist sehr individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Allerdings war das Schlafen auf dem Sofa sehr unbequem und die Dusche konnte nur entweder ganz heiß oder kalt eingestellt werden. Dies sind aber die einzigen Kritikpunkte. Alles andere war sehr schön, die Besitzerin sehr nett und kümmerte sich sehr herzlich um uns. Die Umgebung ist absolut toll.

Zeer leuk huisje, erg landelijk en in het bos gelegen dus als je graag in de natuur zit en van rust houdt zit je goed! Wij hebben heel erg genoten van de omgeving en de afwezigheid van andere toeristen. Het huisje is alleen bereikbaar via een grintweg en je hebt echt een auto nodig als je iets wilt doen. De dichtst bijzijnde grotere plaats is Odemira en dat is een half uur rijden. Het dichtst bijzijnde café is 5 minuten rijden over de grintweg of 25 minuten lopen. Het gebied is niet heel toeristisch (met uitzondering van kust: o.a. Vila Nova de Milfontes). Je kunt er erg mooi wandelen en fietsen maar er zijn niet veel routes aangegeven. De huiseigenaar is vriendelijk, behulpzaam en altijd bereikbaar voor vragen. Bij aankomst stond er zelfs een pakket met de eerste boodschappen voor ons klaar!

The nearest larger town is Odemira and that is a half hour drive. The nearest pub is a 5 minute drive along the gravel road or 25 minutes walk away.The area is not very touristy (except coast: including Milfontes). You can be very beautiful walking and cycling but there are not many trails aangegeven.De house owner is friendly, helpful and always available for questions. On arrival there was even a packet with the first shopping for us!
