4 star holiday home in Masfjordnes
Charming holiday home on a small Westland farm with boathouse, boat and own shoreline. In the middle of a fantastic mountain and fjord landscape with Bergen an hour's drive away. There is no farming, but the meadow is mowed and tended. From the holiday house and the plot is a great panoramic view of the fjord.
The holiday home was modernized in 2017 and has two living rooms, one of which is adjacent to the kitchen area with a dining table.
Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed. The last bedroom has a bunk bed with a 120 cm wide double bed below and an upper bunk with a width of 75 cm. TV with Canal Digital for Norwegian channels and Astra1 for German and European channels.
Bathing facilities on the grounds of the holiday home, 50 m, at high tide there is a long shallow stone beach. A hiking map has been published for the area, which gives you good information about all the marked hiking trails in this wonderful mountain and fjord landscape. There is a cable ferry between Masfjorden and Duesund. On the other side of the fjord you can explore Skjerjehamn, which is a restored trade and traffic hub. If you are on this side of the fjord, you should take a snack and experience a picnic in the Millennium Site - Gulatinget - Norway's oldest courthouse in Eivindvik, which today is a great park area decorated with powerful modern sculptures. To Bergen and all the attractions to be found there, it is approx. 60 km. There we will recommend that you prioritize strolling the fish market, tasting the Bergen fish soup and taking a trip on the Fløibanen.
30 km from the holiday house is the famous Matre river with trout and salmon.
In Sør-Kvinge water - 2 km, it is possible to fish for trout. Filleting bench with electricity and water in the holiday house's basement. Distance to boathouse and boat, 50 metres.
BOAT FOR RENT FROM WEEK 14 TO WEEK 39:
- 1 x 15 foot Hobby430 with 20 HP Suzuki442ca, GPS/chart plotter/sonar. Life jackets are included in the rental of the boat.
A 4-6 person outdoor hot tub/massage bath is located on a new terrace on the lower side of the holiday home overlooking the fjord. Give let us know well in advance of your arrival if you/you wish to use it so that the landlord can make it ready before you arrive, or during your stay. The hot tub/massage bath is heated with electricity and is closed after use.
