Nice, spacious holiday home idyllically located by Lake Bjørknessjøen. The outdoor areas are spacious and well-equipped. By the water, there is a large outdoor kitchen on a terrace with a pergola, gas and charcoal grills and direct access to the landing and floating dock. There is also a fire pit.
The holiday home contains several bedrooms spread over three floors as well as 2 sleeping places in an annex by the sea. Nice family rooms and fully equipped open kitchen. The living room has a fireplace and gas stove and large windows overlooking the sea. A WC on each floor and a main bathroom with shower.
Bjørknessjøen is known for its excellent fishing for pike, perch and some trout, and a fishing license is not required. Private pier with bathing ladder, and boats with motors and canoes for rent. Family-friendly, shallow sandy beach a short boat ride away. From the balcony on the first floor you have a beautiful view of Bjørknessjøen - a perfect place with an extra mini fridge and coffee machine for your morning coffee on the balcony. The plot consists of a neatly cut lawn with plenty of space to play and relax.
Great hiking opportunities in the forest and fields with birds and wildlife. If you are lucky, you can see both moose, forest birds and deer. The forests are very good mushroom terrain in season and offer great nature experiences throughout the year. Good opportunities for berry picking in the area.
Grocery stores, restaurants and services can be found in the municipal centers of Bjørkelangen and Årnes, about 35 minutes’ drive away. In Årnes there is also Nes swimming pool, great for families with children. It is also a short distance to Sweden and Charlottenberg for shopping.
