The larger settlement of Stężyca is approximately 2.5 km away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, and rowboat and sailboat rentals. There's also a charming lakeside promenade, which can be explored by bike, or on one of the many interesting hikes in the area. The house's location is an excellent base for exploring the Kashubian Switzerland region. A trip to Szymbark with the "Upside-Down House" or to the highest mountain in northern Poland, Wieżyca, is worth a visit.
