The kitchen is modern and has all equipment and a dining table. The living room has a large and comfortable corner sofa, modern TV and a warming wood stove for slightly chilly evenings and a great cozy factor. At the back of the cottage you have a large and lovely terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Here you can enjoy both morning coffee and barbecue evenings in privacy.

At a convenient distance is Mellbystrand with its beach hotel and its small shops and restaurants. In the northern part is Hökafältet, a valued nature reserve with several exercise loops and walking paths. To the south, the development turns into Skummeslövstrand's summer center with several restaurants, a shop and a bakery. There is also a heated outdoor pool here. Nearby there is a shopping center and in the area there are a large number of summer activities, e.g. tennis padel and mingolf. Just south of you reach the Bjäre Peninsula with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the wonderful tennis metropolis. There are excellent cycling routes to the north and south. At Hallandsås there are both ski slopes and exciting mountain bike tracks in summer.

To the north you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large range of entertainment and all the golf courses. Why not visit the small town of Laholm with its beautiful location by the Lagan. Lagan has a nice salmon fishery (fishing license required). For those interested in golf, there are many golf courses in the area. The nearest is Laholms Gk.

The house is not rented out to youth groups.
