Description

Great log cabin on Golsfjellet in beautiful nature with views of Hallingskarvet and Jotunheimen. A perfect area for outdoor enthusiasts with activities such as skiing, hiking trails (summer and winter), bike paths and several fishing lakes. You can fish for trout in the area.

The cabin is part of a mountain farm dating back to the 18th century in an area with a lot of history; there is more information about this in the cabin.

The cabin is beautifully decorated with an open kitchen/living room. Both wood stove and fireplace, firewood is included in the price. TV with satellite and several foreign channels. Lovely bathroom with sauna.

The cabin has three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a bunk bed. In addition, there is a loft with a double bed and mattresses. Bed linen and towels can be rented on site. There is plenty of seating outside, both under cover and on the open terrace.

There is abundant wildlife in the area. Here, you can see moose, roe deer, deer, reindeer and several species of birds. Brattstølen ski resort is about 3 km away, and if you want larger conditions, it is a short drive to ski resorts on Golsfjellet, Valdres Alpinsenter, Storefjell, Bualia and Hemsedal. In Gol, you will find Skaga Village Museum and a great water park, Tropicana. Gol also offers activities such as go-karting, Escape Room, dog sledding, sleigh rides, snowmobile safaris, "Frozen Lake marathon", ice climbing, great ice-skating rinks and much more.

The cabin is not let to youth groups. Please note there is a toll road to the cabin at NOK 50,-.

Ruhiges Haus weit weg von allen und allem, aber trotzdem gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen.es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für die Sportive Betätigung (zu Fuß oder aufm Fahrrad im Sommer, Im Winter gibt s wohl einige Langlauf-Möglichkeinten... einziger Nachteil: die Straße, die zum Haus führt, ist Mautpflichtig, der Preis ist aber moderat (60NOK pro Einfahrt). Das Haust hat Platz für bis zu 12 Menschen, wobei dann mind. 6 davon Kinder sein sollten :) Empfehlungen: Essen und Getränke sollten für die gesamte Aufenthaltsdauer dabei sein, die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist 20km Weg (in Gol) und landestypisch teuer. Falls man den Kamin nutzen möchte, sollte man Feuerzug dabei haben, im Haus habe ich nichts gefunden. Löffel waren komischerweise auch sehr wenige drin, Gabel hingegen reichlich.
