You’ll find stunning beaches along Ystad, Löderups Strandbad, Kivik, and Sandhammaren. Malmö city center and Emporia shopping mall are nearby if you enjoy a vibrant city atmosphere and shopping. Don’t miss the famous café “Olof Viktors,” which comes highly recommended, as well as The Old Bakery in Örnahusen and Fredrik at Eklaholm. In Österlen you can visit Ales Stenar, Kåseberga, and much more.
There’s plenty for children to explore as well, such as Skåne Zoo, Ystad Zoo, and Tosselilla Summer Park. You can even take the ferry from Ystad to Bornholm. And don’t miss the chance to go fishing in Skåne’s many beautiful lakes.
