Modern Nature Retreat

Mooi park in een prachtige omgeving. Faciliteiten zijn ook goed en de huisjes zijn prachtig. Zwembad ook echt erg fijn. Leuke activiteiten en niet te druk of vol. Ons huisje was alleen niet schoon. Van binnen niet buiten lag er ook vuilnis. Vaatwasser was vies en droogte niet wat voor bacteriën en viezigheid zorgde. Klacht over ingediend, bij uitchecken kregen we de feedback dat we vaker hadden moeten klagen.

1. We were told we could BBQ in designated areas. Customer service confirmed this when I contacted them before booking and it was written in the booking confirmation. However, when we arrived we were told bbquing is forbidden everywhere. We specifically wanted a place where we could BBQ, that was an important criteria for us, so it was very disappointing to see we were misled. 2. Customer service informed us bikes were included in the reservation and we would have a private bike storage. However, when we arrived this was not the case. We had to pay to rent bikes and the bikes were not even available to rent during our stay. There was also no bike storage outside the holiday home. 3. We were told we would have a lake view appartment. It was in the description of the holiday home and customer service confirmed it. However, the holiday home had no view of the lake. It was hidden behind trees and bushes. We asked at the reception if we could change as it didn't match the description but all the alternatives were fully booked. 4. The fridge did not work properly and cool, so some of our food spoilt. 5. There was only one dishwasher tablet in the holiday home and no washing up liquid. Only after inquiring into it at reception, we were told we have to buy dishwasher tablets in their onsite shop. However, when we went, there were none in stock. It would have been nice to receive this information beforehand. Also, having a few extra dishwasher tablets or washing-up liquid would cost the resort nothing. 6. The dustbins were way too small for 6 people. They were full on the first day. 7. We paid for kayaking and the instructions on how to find it were very unclear. It turned out the Kayak lake was hidden in the forest, but there were no signs indicating where to go and the staff didnt mention that part in their instructions. We spent 30 minutes trying to find it and had to go back to ask the staff to guide us there. 8. The website lists multiple holiday homes at different prices but it's very unclear what the differences are. We asked customer service for an explanation but all the information they communicated was wrong. It's unfortunate because it's a pretty eco resort, but after the terrible service we dont feel inclined to go back.

Het resort heeft verschillende activiteiten voor gezinnen en groepen, We huurden de vergaderruimte voor een dag, gebruikten de padelbanen en andere sportmogelijkheden meerdere keren, en boekten een "overleven in het bos" activiteit met de partners van Your Nature in het resortbos,

The resort has several activities for families and groups, We rented the meeting room for a day, used the paddle courts and other sports facilities several times, and booked a "survival in the forest" activity with the partners of Your Nature in the resort forest,

We hebben ons verblijf tijdens de kerstvakantie enorm gewaardeerd en zouden het ten zeerste aanbevelen! De faciliteiten in het park zijn misschien wat beperkt in de winter, maar dat stoorde ons helemaal niet, Er was meer dan genoeg te doen! Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, Ze doen ook hun best om Nederlands te spreken, Een speciale vermelding voor de man die met de shuttle door het park rijdt! Hij gaf ons graag een ritje, haalde ons op bij de receptie en hielp met het in- en uitladen van onze bagage, Hij is echt geweldig! We verbleven in de leaf, Het huis was mooi ingericht, s Avonds merkten we dat er geen waterdruk in de badkamers was en we geen warm water hadden, De volgende ochtend was er meteen een technicus om het probleem op te lossen, Geweldige service! Tot slot hebben we heerlijk gegeten in La Maison, Alles was vers bereid, zelfs de mayonaise! Kortom, we hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad!

We really appreciated our stay during the Christmas holidays and would highly recommend it! The facilities in the park may be a bit limited in the winter, but that didn't bother us at all, There was more than enough to do! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, They also make an effort to speak Dutch, A special mention for the man who drives the shuttle through the park! He was happy to give us a ride, picked us up at reception and helped with loading and unloading our luggage, He is really great! We stayed in the leaf, The house was beautifully decorated, In the evening we noticed that there was no water pressure in the bathrooms and we had no hot water, The next morning a technician was there straight away to solve the problem, Great service! Finally, we had a delicious meal at La Maison, Everything was freshly prepared, even the mayonnaise! In short, we had a great time!
