Leak on the lowest level terrible smell, moldy. Many of the lighting elements did not work. Either no bulbs or faulty switches. The linens are not good quality. Some stains on the bedding. The towels are also not good quality and there were too few. 4 towels. One for each of us. No reply over the weekend concerning the leak, lack of towels. There is a washer dryer but no detergent. We are fit people. This not an apartment for anyone who is not agile. The beds are on the floor level. 3 floors of curved stairs. Bathrooms on the lowest level where the leak is located.

Superb and quiet location, walking to all the spots in Knightsbridge and South Kensington. The house is very secure and was warm on a mild winter visit. A good standard of cleanliness was somewhat marred by a lack of maintenance, with bulbs missing and a sodden basement carpet that presumably was due to a flood from the adjacent bathroom shower. There was also a need for a deep clean, as embedded food and smoking smells were hard to ignore.
