Manor Retreat near Milton Keynes with Hot Tub

Overall a good stay. It is a beautiful house with lovely features and was clean and tidy on arrival. Grounds are stunning with plenty of options for a walk along the canal and around the church next door. Pub just a few minutes away which served good food. The hot tub was great. Improvements needed in our view are to replace the towels as they are quite worn and way too small...I note this has been mentioned before but not sorted and yet such an easy fix. There need to be bath mats in all shower rooms as floors very slippy. I had to use a hand towel to step onto when getting out of shower. We found the hob quite tricky to use but it may be because we are all used to gas hobs at home. Upstairs toilet in ensuite blocked at one point but we managed to sort out...old plumbing! The waste recycling etc was a challenge as when we arrived all the outside bins had not been emptied and animals must have got in and created a real mess so we struggled with that. House does have lots of stairs to be aware of if anyone has mobility issues but even my 90 year old parents were ok with it. So a good stay for us and just small issues to look at.
